Amazing video. I've watched several types of pullup beginner videos and this one is the most detailed and has the most explanation. A pullup is my 2024 resolution so I'm excited to try all of this.

Totally feel the grip strength aspect. I'm recovering from an injury and grip strength on my left arm is significantly weaker than my right. I'm doing one arm hangs as a measure and my left arm is about 50% weaker. Its frustrating, but trying to make slow and steady process back to more balanced strength. Thanks for your vids - they keep me in a positive mindset and help motivate me in my workouts!

Wow the comment about bending the pvc bar is so helpful I have always struggled with understanding what the pulling mechanism entailed and was moving more in a straight line than being curved.

Great video! I've been trying to do a pullup forever. I've been following along with your app, but struggle with noticing any improvement on the assisted pull up machine. But I'm definitely not keeping my core tight, and have a tendency to almost have a kip-up motion. Thanks for all the detailed explanations!

This was great! Thank you so much! I can do 8-10 unassisted strict pull ups (depending on the day 😅) I struggle the most at the bottom position, so will incorporate some pulses at the bottom. Thanks 👍🏼 😊

yesss pulses ! and some strong holds at the bottom position

I like to do 21s on the assisted pull-up machine following my sets of unassisted pull-ups. It's a killer finisher.

Great info. Am in need of gaining wrist/grip strength. I was told to not let my hands flex out in movements (e.g. when using a resistance bamd), to keep that area strong 💜💫

that maple syrup in canada keeping y'all strong as hell... another great vid, saving this one for later!! I can do neutral grip fine but still struggling with pronated grip pull ups, especially getting chest to bar. i need to go back to the basics to build up strength in that grip. i like the idea of flaring the lats during horizontal pulls for more tension on the negatives, i think that will help build strength faster.

I can just never unlock my elbows. I can do PUs with the lightest of band assistance, but take it away and again I fail to be able to unlock my elbows even when I activate the Lats. SO frustrating.

Definitely need to give the hook grip a go I have been trying assisted pull ups with a long band, still got a bit of a swing but determined to get unassisted pull ups. I loop the band in the same way as you. I tend to put my knee into the loop of the band, would you say it is better to have a straight leg and put a foot/feet in the loop?
@littletfitness Жыл бұрын
straight leg is better ! the transition to a true pull-up is much easier

Any tips oj doing high pull ups? Like chris heria does the pull ups and has the bar at waist level. Thanks!

what is your advice on muscle ups, i have been trying for roughly 4 months now, i got to extremely explosive pull ups but cant manage to get my elbows above the bar. im kicking away then throwing knees to my chest. im 87kg (190ish lbs) so at higher bodyweight the transition feels impossible

I’m big fan of you from Korea❤! And this is the video that I needed. 😮 However I'm surprised that you didn't mention negative pull-up. I watched about 10 pull up tutorial videos(I really wanna make 1 pull up… ), and a lot of them recommended negative pull-up. Do you have any reason that you didn’t include it?
@littletfitness11 ай бұрын
omg I love Korea!! I want to come visit all day! negatives are good - however I do find these variations a little more useful, most people fall out of their negative so depending on your strength it can or can't be the best drill
