It’s crazy that the whole feminist movement just pushed women into more male rhythms and style of living, we are definitely not equal to men, not less but just different. This explains my constant exhaustion as I try to keep up.

PCOS is so under diagnosed and talked about. I was finally diagnosed at 33 when trying to get pregnant. I'm thankful for ivf in the interim for my twins and then 1 year later naturally getting pregnant with my singleton. However, it took lots of reading and learning my own body and nutrition to get my health and hormones regulated. Thankful for all these women and men who have shed light on this condition and nutritions role in hormone health.

What did you do to get your horomones regulated if you don't mind explaining? I find all this information overwhelming and I would love some personal stories

Me too, it feels like something valuable was hidden from me for the past 20 years, and as I direct result my body has suffered 😥 I'm really excited to learn this now, but will definitely make sure my nieces get this info when they start menstruation!!!

Thank you very much, Dhru. Alisa Vitti really nailed something on the head, ugh, bad pun. My X said our bad timing was because I was a bipolar b.. This has made it so I don't care if I have The relationship again here. Circadian? Infradian? Nightmare. In more ways than one. Finally. Thank you very much. I'm sharing this info..

This was an incredibly helpful video. Thank you thank you thank you ❤ Downloading the app now and added both books on my must buy list. She is so well spoken and this whole talk was filled with practical advice, helpful information, and overall an optimistic approach to uterus health. Love!

I would like to address more in depth what causes Endometriosis and even so how that’s part GI issues in a lot of cases as women. GI and other doctors each address one system of the body separate from another and Functional Medicine is so expensive most of us can not afford to see them to treat these issues in relation to one another.
@roxannar38203 жыл бұрын
Does taking progesterone Rx help or hurt one to balance our hormones? Because with GI issues (already addresses and healing process) you naturally are trying to increase serotonin. Does this help ?

Great information! :) How can I find that research for the effects of intermittent fasting and keto on women in reproductive years? Much appreciated! :)
@jessicacoyer33084 жыл бұрын
i would like to see that as well, i was doing it for almost a year 🤦♀️
@roxannar38203 жыл бұрын
I’m curious as well. All of 2020 I practiced both Keto and then Carnivore towards the end of the year. All is which just seems to have caused my hormones to lose their sh**. Weight gain. Despite all of the practices required to follow these two dietary lifestyles.

It's very interesting, and I want to know more, but this feels like a paid programming infomercial. Like she's just trying to sell her book here. Also, (27:06) she never goes on to say which phase not to do the high intensity training. Did I miss it?
@CarissaWyles4 жыл бұрын
I think the conversation took a turn and never circled back. She has mentioned it in other interviews, I think it's the second half of your cycle, can recall exactly, waiting on her books in the mail.

of course she is trying to sell her books. its her livleyhood and she spend probably years to research this topic, so obviously she ist just giftig it away. just get the book ;)

Hm, I'm not too sure about the intermittent fasting bit. I've been doing it for a few years now and have seen much more positive changes than when I wasn't fasting. Maybe it all depends on the person.

well well my body used to perform naturally very well until i got sterilazed after my second baby and messed with my natural flow. Actually my gynecologist worn me that would happen when she already started doing the procedure and make me sign all the papers autorizing the procedure.

She made it sound like she was studying medicine at Johns Hopkins. She doesn't have any type of medical degree, and I don't think she has any degree from John's Hopkins. According to the NY Times, she was working in marketing when she decided to go to a vocational school for holistic medicine.

so? all her work and books are based on medical Studies... you can find all the references in the book. She is a Writer, thats what they do, they do deep research of a Tonic and make it more easy accessable /readable for the General Population.

Isn‘t it agains human nature tho, to have an every changing routine? Like this is against every single „how to build a habit“ video i‘ve seen (unless they’re also all based on studies for men lol) but i feel like it‘s true for me (a woman) as well, if i do sth everyday, it becomes a habit, if i don‘t, not so much.
@Sdority905 Жыл бұрын
Bc the building habits videos are based on a male way of living. We can create good habits by listening to our bodies and doing what serves us in long term. There are many tools to do this and it doesn't mean that every day needs to be the same.
@TheeKenyanExperience2 жыл бұрын

Wow. I never considered any of this. I encourage further research by one's self. I'm not downplaying anything she said, but she's not a medical doctor.
@CarissaWyles4 жыл бұрын
She's literally the first woman I've heard that makes any sense about this subject. I will be investigating it my self, but she is clearly highly intelligent and has done a lot of work in this area. Medical Doctors literally told her she had no options. They were wrong. I'd say she has a one-up on them.

And yet medical doctors pretend these problems don't exist or its psychological 😑

She has helped a lot more women than medical doctors 🥼 have with hormonal issues.
