Hi Alisa! I'm a former bodybuilder and bikini model. I lost my period for 6 years, was diagnosed with PCOS and had hypothyroid syndrome. What you say about the male research piece is so true for me - I had a great big blind spot because I was following male based fitness and nutrition. Thank you for helping us all thrive in female bodies!

I read both books in Oct/ Nov 2020. I have been cycle syncing since then. Had my first symptom free cycle in Mar 2021 🙌🏾 I am a Physician Assistant in hematology and have recommend this method to my patients who end up with severe anemia due to blood loss.

Most people talking about experiencing peak flow are men, largely unaware of the female hormonal pattern or the hormonal bio-chemistry. This is true. I love this talk. This is my second time here. Love your work. I bought the book on my birthday last year :)

I’m in my last trimester of pregnancy. Your books are next on my list so when I’ve had this baby I can restart my body the right way.. Tried going nearly meatless the past 3 years and my hair kept falling out. Being my fourth pregnancy this is my first pregnancy where I would feel terrible and like I was going to pass out if I was not taking in protein throughout the day. Looking forward to the reset .

Tracking my rhythm has been great- I no longer feel like I’m walking alone in the dark...

Yes Samri! Tracking the cycle is one of the best things I've done for my body too.

Heya @@CycleCoachAcademy I've learned how my cycle length would increase/decrease based on my diet, exercise, stress that month. It helps me regulate my cycle. I subbed to your channel btw- you have great content!

What if 5am is the only time you can exercise? Is it better in your luteal and menstrual phase to do exercise in the evening, after kids go to bed? During the day is often not possible with work schedule.
@CycleCoachAcademy3 жыл бұрын
When I exercised regularly at 5am I was very depleted, but I was always getting 6-7 hours of sleep. Are you getting 8 hours or more?

Is the Infradian rhythm affected during the Post menopausal time and how?
@Karamelk43 жыл бұрын
Hi 🙂 It doesn't exist post menopause. It's specific to women in their reproductive years.

Hi I was wondering if I'm estrogen dominance. Can I eat soy on my period when estrogen is low ?
@CycleCoachAcademy3 жыл бұрын
If you have estrogen dominance, focus on clearing estrogen in your late ovulatory and luteal phase - lots of fiber, dark leafy greens, cruciferous veggies and getting endocrine disrupters out of your life. When I notice that I'm going into an estrogen dominance place, I cut out soy.

I would rather you just used the word 'woman'.

Why?

Many people are working to be more inclusive in the period space. Not all women menstruate and not every person who menstruates is a woman.
