There's a bunch of new blessings that I really am enjoying. Dueling sword thrust + precog. Bolter (2-handed) puncture + fire frenzy for those sweet hipfire slides as I charge a horde of elites. Heck, I'm even trying out Paul with some Power Surge trying to see if it's not total poo now. Looking forward to seeing your breakdowns again.

Really liking the update so far, my only gripe is how they ignored the mk II eviscerator in favor of the mk XV that as I see it was already better than the mkII and now there's even less reason for it to be used over mk XV

I am extremely bummed by the 5% sprint nerf zealot got in one of the nodes. It’s so unnecessary, but I feel so sluggish. I think it may have been more than the stated 5% honestly. Additionally, I’m still skeptical of the IOD change.

Infested damage, recoil reduction, ignores limbs, +1 pen, Essentially everything I wanted. It has some aim issues still but its really good now.

There's only 2 downsides to this update: 1. You lose all the blessings you've already collected. 2. This new system comes at the cost of no new weapons. Other than that, this update rocks.

Yeah, leveling is actually more painful in a way, because until you have that mastery up you can't upgrade your weapons to be worth spit, and all the ones you buy from Brunt pathetic stats until you empower them... something you can only do at max weapon mastery!

@@Acesahn At the same time, don't forget that if you find a weapon with good stats that there is NO LONGER a modification cap. Meaning you can upgrade a piece of garbage to a god tier weapon without having to worry about only 2 changes being the limit. Also don't forget if you find a weapon you love, but it's not the version you like, that you can now change it.

I'm a bit confused by the equipment changes as I don't understand the ranking. I used to look at the number of just the stat percentages and 380-370 was where I wanted it and now... I don't know where that number is so do I have to manually calculate its overall strength...?

Now, you just need to look for number in right side of bracket. That's max number you can get by empower things on Hadron. Max number still 80 though.

@@gferd I'm still confused cuz the number seems to be a max of 500... but that's WAY more then the 380. I don't know where this 500 is coming from since the blessings and perks don't count.

@@Acesahn i don't know too, if 500 that mean all stat must 100 but max still 80 and not all stat can go to 80, maybe 3 or 4. I just see all the number on right bracket and decide if all main stat 80 with correct minimal dump stat. Then i will empower and refine+bless it.

@martin-ot1qd I'm guessing all weapons are basically 380s now, its just they their stats unrealized and you have to get enough mastery to enhance them to their full potential? I haven't got a high enough mastery yet to improve the stats from what they are to what they could be yet though.

@martin-ot1qd OK, so all weapons appear to have 379-380 power points of stats. When you completely master the weapon catagory, you can spend recourses to push all the stats to the right most version of them. So until you master it, your stuck with the smaller of the numbers. I say 379-380 cuz some of my weapons are 1% stronger then others, having 61% instead of 60% with all other stats at 80%

I am just running a 40% damage mk1 (I think) dueling sword on my Zealot right now and it us cleaning house. It is going to be scary when I finally can get it to 80%. Just have a huge grind to get it there. I wanted the sword badly in Zealot but am very scared it is too much on Zealot.

You can occupy yourself by using weapons to unlock mastery for penance points, a weapon skin, and the ability to make PERFECT weapons now with all the blessings at your fingertips. I've spent hours just crunching numbers and running from the tech priest to the Meatgrinder to test the results lol.

Your decision, but the gameplay and weapon management is leagues ahead of where it was. The only negative stuff still in the game is the story and your inability to chose what mission you want if its not up. They really should put the story driven missions in a column somewhere so you can do them in order.

We would all love a new class to sink time into but making all those blits and or grenades and what not will take a ton of time. Tbh idk if it ever even happens but it would be alot of fun. If vermintide is any metric its not happening anytime soon.
