What an impressive pumpkin harvest. Absolutely massive. My mum and I use to buy them every fall and mix them with sweet potatoes for the best tasting pies and puddings. Don't underestimate the value of your sweet potato harvest. I'm in south TX and the extreme heat and drought destroyed my garden. But thankfully I saved some of my herbs and moringa trees. 💚💚💚

Yes they do some variety can last up to 6 mouths if kept in the right temperature with the stem on it

It's such a trade off. My area grows sweet potatoes very well, but I can't grow a pumpkin to save my life. Too much pest pressure in my back yard for abundant squash. Especially huge pumpkins like those. That's why it's so fun to watch gardeners in different places. New subscriber here.

Thank you very much. This year was the biggest i have ever had since i have been growing pumpkins. Year that is soo true, one areas are just better with some fruit and vegetables than others areas but I am not one to give up just keep planting those pumkins it will happen some how and try different varieties from different countries who know right
