The consequences of his actions are what they are, nothing can change that. But I really appreciate that he apologised and admitted that he was different and did terrible things. I know that with a mental illness a person is many times not able to control their actions. I think that was his case. It is all very, very sad ..... Thank you, 48 hrs and Mr Van Sant.

I used to walk my dogs at 11pm, anywhere to 3am because I was afraid they would get skunked in the backyard. The only thing I was afraid of running into were coyotes, a rabid fox or racoon and getting too close to skunks. Although I live in Chicago it's a very safe area... well, it was but in the last few years it's been getting worse and worse. Car jacking, break-in, shootings etc Wherever you live, no matter how safe you think it is please don't go out alone, keep alert and let your loved ones have the tracking on your phone.

It's very continent to blame a deceased person for your problems, since they can't rebuke what the accuser claims. It is also not difficult to fool psychologists.

True! The "golden standard" is Edmund Kemper - blamed his "mean" mum for his murders and tricked several mental health professionals that he was not a threat to society. 🙄 Check that freak out if you dont know about him 💀

It seems to be a universal malady. But ,as you say, "some" are like that, which means some are good thinkers.

Im a very active truecrime viewer and I can tell you that by far most cases could have been prevented if we just would start taking early signs seriously. Its rediculous really.

This goes with the saying, not every method could work on a child. My teacher and mother used to hit me when my grades were bad. It just made me wanna prove them otherwise. But then again, I think majority of most developed brains are those without trauma. It's sad he used his mother as an excuse nevertheless. The lack of empathy towards his single young mother.. So important to teach empathy at young age..

If Brains ex wife was so afraid of him, how did this guy get custody of their daughter?
@rebeccaketner8165 ай бұрын
At the last part they answered that: his ex was ‘troubled’ & didn’t show up for the last custody court date.
