Had a question about these on my written exam. I didn't recall if we talked about them during my course I went though to get me prepared for my 2nd class fireman's license. One question was about safety, one was about system control, next was about controlling the flame, and the last was all the above. Thought about it, 2 of the answers sound correct, wasn't sure about the 3rd but felt good on saying all the above

I really really hate these relay BMS systems. It's impossible to grow or add on. If you need to add in a trip that doesn't usually exist it's about impossible. A lot of them end up with damper switches wired in series so when there's an error. You have no idea which one caused the failure. I honestly wish people would stop using these.

Seriously spend the get a PLC system. In fact better yet get a SIL 3 PLC with SIL 2 I/O. As of the 2015 NFPA 85 it allows use of one PLC to be both the BMS and CCS in this configuration.
