Why does mine seem really weak, hard to clean the van cab, takes ages, you have to empty the filter and collector at least 3 or 4 times just to clean the cab floor

How do you charge the battery? Does it come with a charging base or are there plug prongs on the battery. None of the videos I've seen of this unit cover that.

John Wagner this looks like the bare tool model meaning you need to purchase the battery and/ or charger separately.
