I already have all the DC Collectibles animated figures, so I'm great. These (particularly Batman) don't come close to DCC. What's boggling my mind is every single review I've seen, like _no one_ is talking about the animated series line. It's like there's something everybody else knows that I don't. If you talk about the series, you get wacked. No talk, no comparisons. What in the world is going on 😳 *Okay. I see there's a bunch of new reviews in the past 24 hours. Gotta see if anyone now mentions the line. I mean, I'm looking at my collection of them right now. So it's a scary thought if all of this is just in my mind.

I can't wait for Mafex to release an animated superman. I want my Batman and Superman to be my definitive version. I have mafex hush batman, but I'm not the biggest fan of the hush supes. Looks cool, just not for me.

Honestly i hate how everyone's hating on the wave considering that this is the first wave of the line. When legends made their first wave the figures werent perfect, but now that they have been out for years everyone compares the two like these figures have to be just as good as legends two different franchises. They dont need to be the same, and one dosnt need to be just as good as the other

I know the Bruce Timm Animated Series designs are drawn with that kind of stylized proportions but I think McFarlane took that a bit too far, throws me off a little bit, especially the spindly legs I definitely can’t wait for the Hellbat armor Batman figure coming out soon

Glad for the guys who want these but they are just weird looking. Hope they get better. Not a huge fan of 7” figures but these guys were tempting at the store but they are only about 75-80% of where they need to be. Maybe when they get better I’ll bite.

Man, this video just reminds me of why i subscribed to your channel. You really are just very good at reviewing things. Its the little things like actually flexing the cape. I was wondering how hard the cape was, was it super hard like say, Alex Ross Thor? Or softer like Mcfarlane one punch man? One little flick and you answered that question and youre the fisrt person to point out both the ratchet joints and the plastic stress on the elbow. I know we boys man, but good job i mean it.

These are decent looking but just too many things that erk me with sculpt and a few other things. I think the newest animated DCC stuff is superior. Credit to all the new McF figs for being cool out the gate but just some oddities. Throughout all the figs their are little things and inconsistencies I don't like. Still I am not hating anything and I even will get the normal Superman for sure. Some figs standout and just work better due to costume design mixing with their form and fucntion. Like the Batgirl standsout without anything looking too ugly. I am not a huge batgirl guy though so I may skip but regardless yeah I mean not too bad. Dope review bro, seriously appreciate what ya do and your vids help me relax!

The watchmen stuff from DC Essentials was pretty good imo, especially Rorschach and Ozymandias!! Pretty bad line overall though I agree

well, i picked up the animated superman today (damn target someone grabbed the batman already) i found out why the torso range is so limited on these; basically they set the ball peg too far forward and it is only the single peg. BUT there is a way you can get more torso range. The peg socket for the arms and the torso peg is on the same T-plate and is a very thick plastic. All you need to do is heat up the torso with hot water, pop out the tab that holds the T-plate in the torso to get more range. when you are letting it cool down, just leave a little bit of space for the tab to be able to unlock when you bent the torso forward. pop it back in when you don't need to use it. i posted couple photo on my instagram instagram.com/p/B7hfDUfH07x/? for $20, the overall quality of the plastic is a lot better than the ML.

Yeah...that ain't good man. Those proportions even for the Timm Superman are just not good. The shoulders and especially the legs are terrible...hell the head doesn't even look right. Maybe it's the hair throwing the whole thing off. The proportions for McFarlanes new articulated figures seem to be an issue for company in general.
