Woah, same here. Everyone talked about them so I made the effort to order some stuff from the US, me being in my far-away european corner :)) (in the meantime they became readily available here aswell) But uhh... the eyeshadow formula is so... thick? and chalky and weird, just strange. And it doesn't really work to be used wet either. I really wanted to love it :'(

Julia you're quickly becoming my favorite channel. I can tell I like a channel when they post a new video and I always rush to watch it right away instead of scrolling to see who else posted. And lately, when I see your video I click right away! I like you for a few reasons - one, you have the same type of hooded eyes like me (I'm also mixed race -Korean and Irish) and it's hard to find many makeup gurus who are Asian/white mixed and therefore hard to find makeup done on this eyelid type. Secondly, I love how you tend to actually pronounce foreign language names/words (I.e. names of eyeshadow shades) properly, it makes me feel like you're respectful of different cultures, types of people, etc... Also you're so mature for your age and in a very good way! And lastly, I love how intelligent you are. I can tell by some of the references that you make, your vocabulary, the way that you speak and think, etc... I can tell that you are on a higher intellectual level. I'm not sure what personality type you are, but as an INTP I relate to and respect that. Love you girl!

Thank you for sharing your opinions. Some people seem to forget that everyone is different and will have a different opinion and take it personally when other people disagree with them. A certain beauty guru years ago was raving about a wet n wild lipstick. So I was out and about and saw it and picked it up. It was awful! I don’t know if I got a bad lipstick, but it was dry and broke the first time I used it. I recently found the Subculture palette at Marshall’s. And I love it! Another palette I really enjoy that others seemed to dislike was the Urban Decay Backtalk palette. I love that one too. So these days I watch the videos and read the reviews, but i don’t take them so seriously and if I’m curious about something I check it out. 😊 Thank goodness for samples. ❤️

If you are open to trying a foundation from a company that doesn't have deeper ranges. Idun Minerals from Sweden has the Norssken formula which is light/medium coverage that is hydrating and it has a range of pale shades with a variety of tones. It is the best foundation that I've ever found that was a perfect match to my skin tone. Just something you might want to give a try.

I agree wholeheartedly on the Becca highlighters. Nice, but not wow! I do like Becca blush though. I also like Elf blushes, but didn't like that Elf foundation. It was just weird on my skin. My unpopular opinion on KVD products is that I loved the saint and sinner palette. But now I can't even use the thing I'm so done with her racist self.

I have very dry skin and even though Fenty is one of the rare foundations I can find my shade in I absolutely hate it. I never tried worst, and sadly nothing can help it, not even expensive moisturizers or mixing it with other foundations. Interestingly wet n wild is one of my all time favorites, I don`t how, it`s not supposed to work for my skin type, but it just does. Smells horrible that I agree with. You`re the only person I know of who dislikes Born to run. And I do too. It`s really lackluster. And yes you and Mikaela need to be on that Kylie PR list for sure! 🤞💗

IMO Stila should release all of the Glitter & Glows in the smaller/ mini size that come in the sets. It makes SO much more sense in terms of price point & how often most people actually wear glitter, & the smaller container means that there is less room for air in the packaging which means they also won’t dry out near as quickly. I bought a trio of the minis in Fall 2017 - a year & a half ago now - and aside from the one I’ve nearly finished & am thus scraping the sides of they’re still going strong. And while I know there are some who will always buy lots of shades regardless of price & thus bought most/ many of the full sized versions I’m guessing that far more people would be far more likely to try - and potentially fall in love with - the product as a smaller $8-10 version and then not only come back for more & ultimately purchase more in the long run, not to mention that with less drying out & wasted product/ money fewer will be frustrated & turned off - as you are - and will thus be more likely to remain loyal/ repeat purchasers of the product. So while the larger sizes may have netted Stila more cash initially I truly think that over time they’d end up with as much or more by selling the smaller sizes so it would ultimately be a win win for customers & company. But doing that would make far too much sense, right?🤷🏻♀️ PS I’m 90% with you on Subculture. It’s not my top fave & I do have major issues w/ one of the shimmers getting hardpan every time I use it, even if only w/ a brush, but I do still really enjoy it & totally don’t get the mass hatred. And while I came close several times I actually didn’t end up getting it until I lucked out & found an untouched one @ Marshall’s last summer for $25, & while I of course love that I got it for such a great deal part of me regrets not having picked it up sooner. Since there aren’t too many shimmer/ metallic options I’ve also really enjoyed pairing it w/ both ABH’s Mario & Nomad’s Berlin Underground palettes, both of which have a wonderfully complementary color story to Subculture but which are more plentiful on the shimmer/ metallic side of things. And yeah, re: Wet n Wild they definitely do have a handful of products that I think are really good & not just “good for the price”, but I do totally think that many are lured in by the price point & don’t then specify the difference between something being truly great quality that, aside from packaging, could hold its own next to a much pricier product, ie many of their highlighters, vs something that just performs decently well for the price. Re: the eyeshadows I will say that I think the ORIGINAL Comfort Zone palette was something special & well deserving of the hype, as were several of the OG trios, I do like the Creme Brûlée single - especially the OG version - and I have a select few three or six pan LE shadows from over the years that is put head to head with my best high end or indie shadows, but as for their current shadow/ palette line up I agree that it’s simply not that great. While many/ most brands at the drugstore have taken steps forward in terms of shadow quality I don’t think Wet n Wild has, & while the shadows I’ve tried in recent years may have a few pretty good shades per palette the palettes/ quads overall are pretty lackluster, esp considering that for a few dollars more you can get the quality of say Milani or - for twice the price hit twice the number of shades - a Colourpop palette.

I did just purchase Norvina Vol.1 though, and right now I'm in love with that, so 😁 Also, *THANK YOU* for loving Kylie matte liquid lipsticks. I love them too. I use Tatcha Camellia gold spun lip balm underneath them and they work like a dream. My fave shades are Dolce K and Love Bite. I also love her lip pencils. I agree they are similar to Colourpop in quality, but Kylie has shades Colourpop doesn't. Her Moon lip pencil is my go-to "my lips but better" lip pencil. Also, ELF Flawless Finish foundation is amazing. I'm waiting for ELF to expand the shade range of their other, "acne free" I think it's called, foundation. That stuff is BOMB but has no shade range.
