He did, but I don't feel he played this song. He covered it well... He hit all the notes, but was focused so hard on the big parts, there's no emotion or feeling in it. He is leagues above the rest, but I just feel repetition. I have played both in my headset with eyes closed the original and this are completely different, one is full of emotion and dense, the other is empty and rushed. The feeling isn't there, it's a wonderful forced copy, but it is lacking, it's missing.

I personally don’t like the excessive speed, because the pacing isn’t consistent and animenz version is much more fluent, no breakages. Fanchen is amazing and obvs it’s animenz arrangement so I would expect him to play better. But I just prefer animenz version

If you learn to play piano well, you think of it as speaking. Phrasing out sentences etc. Also, conveying your emotions or what you want your listener to hear when you play. Fanchen, is quite good at expressing emotions and phrasing the notes. This is most likely what you are feeling. It is also what differentiates a good pianist from a mediocre pianist.

Whenever I see an unravel attempt, I usually judge it not by "the wall" or the super fast arpeggios and tremolo sections, but rather if they're able to maintain enough stamina to do 2:32 properly, and you actually did it. Very good performance, if not one of the cleanest performances I've seen in a while. How long did you spend on this piece?

I always love Piano versions of Unravel, it reminds of the Acoustic version a lot. Dude this is amazing I’m so glad you got so much recognition from the rush e fiasco, this performance was insane the amount of steadiness is insane and the amount of stamina required to maintain the speedy movements and presses is high and you did it.
