I was just having this conversation yesterday. I've gone through this often in my life and in most cases, I've let it get to the breaking point until I was forced into a decision. If I had known then what I know now, I could have saved myself years of misery. Empowering our clients with this knowledge and guidance is truly life changing in so many ways.

Yes, definitely! This is such an important thing to implement in our own lives and help others do too! Excited you're doing this work with your lucky clients 🤗

Kristin, what an amazing thing you said to me! If we start looking at the whole path, we can't know what that's going to look like. "I can't go in this direction unless I know what the whole path, looks like, then you will never move forward and you will be stuck exactly where you are right now." EUREKA! Such a feeling of realization and peace came over me, thank you. I have been doing this for so long. Thank you for talking about intuition and giving me such a strong and wonderful moment of clarity. You are doing wonderful work and I'm grateful for you. I'm going forward with my health coach journey now and I'm not going to think about it, more just listen to my gut about each step as I walk down this road. In wellness and joy to you, Tracy 🌻

Great point about being "your own patient advocate" and thanks for sharing personal experiences.

This video really resonates with me. I’ve had similar experiences like you shared but stayed a lot longer in the unaligned experiences. I’m now going through a similar situation and as a Coach I recognize it in myself but your words are my intuition speaking through you. Hope that makes sense. Currently I feel the pull of intuition saying let go of your corporate day job to walk through the doors that are opening for you with the coaching business. The struggle is I’m not able to walk through the doors because I’m busy at the day job. My head is looking at my/our living expenses. My heart/gut tells me it will be ok and to go for it. The happy medium is to get a part-time job; however, that still requires letting go of the corporate job. Your suggestions on how to look at it in pieces or sections of time will be helpful as I navigate next steps. Thank you so much! I always enjoy watching and learning from your videos.

I do recommend taking the 'path of least resistance' to starting your business. What this looks like for each person is different because it largely depends on our financial situation and our current work situation. Sometimes the best answer is leaving and starting your business. Sometimes it is staying in your current job and starting your business. And sometimes it is getting a different job while you start your business. I would give yourself at least a year of being in business before you can rely on your income...this can be less or more for people, but it's a good starting point. And based on that, what is the best path for you? Glad you're finding the videos helpful! I'm grateful your here! :)

Thank you very much for all your wise points. I’m getting closer to let go of what sucks life out of me and my creative energy especially now that my body forces me to take a medical and maternity leave. I now have no choice but to listen to my intuition because it is screaming at me. You are so inspiring and thank you for sharing your personal experience especially about your last job. I’m going through a similar situation. Did you quit your job first and then started your business or you started your business while still being employed? If you can answer that please. ❤💐🌺 Sometimes it’s hard to start something new because there’s no energy for it as still have something that depletes this energy and life vitality.

Such a great question. I was just helping one of my clients answer this same question for herself. When figuring out what to do I would take into account your specific financial situation and job situation. I personally quit my toxic job and found a different part time job that covered my living expenses so that I could start my coaching business without being financially pressure, which I believe (and see!) is essential to success. I will do a future video that goes more into the specifics of making this decision. Sorry to hear about what is happening for you...I know how challenging that can be. No job is worth sacrificing your health. xo

Thank you for such a fast and kind response and yes, if you could make a future video regarding financial situation and making this decision that would be great! As for me, I’m about to have 5 months total of medical/maternity leave and I plan to seriously think about my business. My husband can support our coming baby and me financially, but I’ve always been a professional woman and had my own income as I don’t like to be dependent on another person in general but this time has come now @@KristinHartjes

@@harmonyandnature2835 I would make the decision based on what feels best to you personally. If you don't need the income, then you have more flexibility as far as the choice you make. I would give yourself about a year of working on your business to really get in the flow of getting clients and income...although this can be less or more depending on the individual...and based on that what feels like the best way to support yourself in building your business?
