I appreciate what you said about it taking longer to build a business and being compassionate with yourself. I believe this message needs to be shared more often. I tried it the extroverted way and it didn't work. Once I realized I was a highly sensiitive introvert and became okay with slowly building my business, especially since I don't want to be on social media, the journey has been more enjoyable.

My biggest takeaway is to be okay with these traits. You’re right, there’s so much pressure out there to do it the extraverted way. I’m also going to stay away from offering huge group sessions (which I had been considering but know I don’t like), and am feeling better about trying video! Thank you!

This is spot on! I've been trying to force myself to build my coaching business as an extrovert because I consider myself a "hybrid" but if I'm being really honest with myself, I'm truly an introvert that has developed great coping and communication skills in group settings (which makes me look like an extrovert to some). I'm extroverted around the people that I deeply connect with, other than that I'm a hermit haha. Seeing you show up on youtube as an "introvert" is truly inspiring! I'm tired of "hiding" but I also struggle with performance anxiety and I go into freeze when I try to record myself speaking about something, even if I'm passionate about it. I'm learning to allow myself to go about business in a way that's relevant to who I am while finding ways to get out of my comfort zone little by little.

This is absolutely the perfect approach! Learning how to show up in a way that works for you will be a process of trial and error...but trust those things that you feel most called to. Excited for you to find your own path! xo

Entertaining isn't necessarily bad ;) But I find that your intention behind what you create is what really matters. Are you doing it because you enjoy it and because it's what you really want to share or because it's what you think you have to do or are supposed to do or what everyone else is doing. :)
