Can't disagree with ANY of that except that we like to prepare our spaghetti in very small portions cut up much like macaroni! (Coincidentally, or perhaps just Pecularly, Rikim.... I was choosing to watch a few crime videos last night , to provide a break from my music.. "48 Hours" came up, and with the most BEAUTIFUL CELLOS in their "introductions" to their videos, I watched a few more, just to HEAR the CELLOS! We have been working on a children's musical for a long time, now, about a little eight year old CELLO PLAYER, who gets up on stage to bring a bit of humor to the " Famous First Four"...our musical about the first four American presidents, featured back in the year 1779 when we had a few good ones!) FINALLY! An EXCELLENT video on Italian heritage! Doesn't sound to be by an AI narrator, either. Beautifully accomplished! We all know that a love song sung in Italian always seems to have more love in it ! When I went to find singers , I found a most eloquent and elegant singer in Italy, who sings in Italian, French, Spanish AND English extremely well. No wanting connections in Hollywood (that I've know well, in my past btw) and hoping Bocelli and Brightman would someday hear one and want to record it, I let her sing many of my love songs (in two different languages) If only I'd moved TO Italy instead of California twenty years ago! Maybe I'm not too little too late Afterall?! "The Man I Almost Married," "One Enchanted Evening, I Found an Old Friend", (Italian) by Ana Marie Ceuca And " Loving You All day Long!" in French "The Little Blue Mermaid for Children" in Three languages too! The modern name "Italy" is derived from the Latin word "Italia," which was used by the ancient Romans to refer to the Italian Peninsula. There isn't any historical evidence to support the claim that it was originally called "hot foot."

@@VincentMangiapane you forgot that Italians were a mix from ancient times. In northern Italy we had celts and Latins were both black haired and blonde (with less blond people). Your family light skin and blond hair is probably from mixing with other italic tribes. The Normans were too few to have an impact genetically. Sicily was already really mixed, so it is probably from other people mixing in. You need to remember that the center of the world was in the Mediterranean Sea at that time, so even Northern European countries needed to move there to trade.

Definitely part of Italy particularly the northern Po valley region answers to the Celts (Gomer). Greeks called the descendants of Gomer - Keltoi or Galatians and the Roman's called Gomer's descendants Galli or Gauls. Northern parts of Italy and Switzerland, Austria regions were known to the Romans as Transalpine Gaul and Cisalpine Gaul. Celts (Gomer) sacked Rome in 390 BC.

It is Very hard to say It, cause as mentioned in the video, there were loads of invasions of germanic tribes the italian península, gauls (celts) were considered "italian enough" in the time of the invasions of germanic tribes, so Celtics were no longer seen as "foreigns" cause they were Very "romanazied", we can see this in french language, which shows they tried to speak latin, but with their own accent (differences), and there is also the greek invasions on "magna grecia" which was sicily, and so on...

Arabs and Berbers invaded Sicily, not continental Italy. That is only an American bias, not history. Blue eyes were common in Italy long before the barbarian invasions, because Italians (like all Europeans) are a mix of Western Neolithic hunter-gatherers, Anatolian farmers, and steppe people. The former had majority blue eyes.

@@randomcamus9445 You've seen too much fantasy. Leonardo's mother was a Circassian slave, captured by the Turks and found on a Turkish ship by Christians. Turkish Muslims captured women in the Caucasus because they liked blondes. Thus, Leonardo's mother was not Middle Eastern at all, but a European. Circassia is currently a Russian region on the Black Sea. Accidentally being on a Turkish ship does not make one genetically Middle Eastern.

This Video is highly inaccurate. The Lombard invasion took Place in greater part of the south too. They estabilished three principalities: Benevento, Capua and Salerno, that lasted three more centuries after the Fall of the Lombard Kingdom in the North. The last lombard prince of Salerno, Gisulfo (Whissulf) the 2nd,was removed by Robert the Guiscard (the clever) who defeated the Italian southern Lombards . He removed Gisulfo marrying her sister Sichelgaita, and then estabilishing the Normans in the south. The arabs conquered only Sicily while making raids on the peninsula without settling. The levantine percentage of the southerner didn't come from the arabs but from the First Anatolian farmers Who settled in all of the mediterranean region, and even in the North of Europe. Stonehenge was built by Anatolian Farmers. Anyway all this is backed by genetic evidencies. I am from Salerno, near Naples, and my Gedmatch genetic analyses showed that I am 14% Lebanese, 13% Sardinian, 7% West German, 5% West Norwegian, being for all the rest South Italian

as an Italian I want to be realistic, the origin of the Italians, the "modern" Italians, dates back to the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. we are this. the ancient Romans and ancient Greeks are different people from us in all respects. we base our culture on ourselves, Italians. not on ancestor peoples who lived thousands of years ago. leonardo, michelangelo, vivaldi, garibaldi etc. they are Italian. let's leave the Romans and the ancient Greeks in the catacombs.

Apart from the Myth of Noah and his children, wine came to Italy from the East, more specifically wine came from caucuses and what are Modern-Day regions of Georgia, and Ancient Italic tribes (long before Romans) were better known for cattle and pig farmers, not wine, and in fact; this is from where it is believed that Italy gets its name, from their cattle, and also; Ancient Italic tribes were some of the oldest Indo-European ethnic groups which predate the myths Adam & Eve, let alone the myth of Noah and his children

Can you comment about Aeneas or even confirm or deny that the legend or myth behind Aeneas has any real historical value or evidence to prove some type of exodus did happen after a war, or if this myth was fake? & is there any possibility you’ll make another video talking more about Italian ancestry or their descendancy especially concerning the Aeneas myth confirming if there’s some type of truth to it or if it’s just false? I know it’s most likely that it’s not real but it’s always intrigued me as a storywriter, Aeneas not the deities in it. I don’t care for other deities mentioned in such stories, makes me feel dumb to read anything that involves them. Only Savior & Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord God. Still sorry for making a long comment & hope you have a great day, & God bless.🙏🏽🙏🏽
