I always figured Adam and Eve had children before Cain, Abel, and Seth because one of Eve's curses after Adam ate the fruit was that she would be in pain during childbirth. That always led me to believe that Eve must've known what it felt like to give birth naturally without pain, which then got me thinking that Cain, Abel, and Seth may have been the first children after the curse. Just my random thoughts!

This is not possible, because the bible said, we were all born into sin, therefore,.we all have a sinful nature, if some of Adam's kids were born before the fall, that would make them sinless and not inherit their parents sinful nature, because they were born before God pronounced judgment on Adam and his wife.

I figured God telling Eve that she will have pain during childbirth must mean she never had the pain before during childbirth, or else why even make that a punishment? The effect wouldn’t be the same. One of Adam’s curses was now he had to work for his wealth instead of it just being given to him. That curse clearly hits hard because he never had to work before, so I was using that same logic with Eve. Plus immediately when God created Adam and Eve he told them to be fruitful and multiply and we all know what that meant lol. But I get what you are saying.

​@@RaquelCGaryActually the notion that Adam didn't work is also incorrect, because the bible said that God placed them in the garden and they were to care for it, meaning they were to work to maintain it, The whole world was not a garden like Eden, Eden was God's first work of beauty, perfection and organisation, and I can only assume, after Adam and his descendants began to multiply, they were to use Eden as an example of how to transform the rest of the world into organised beauty. You teach children about ancient writings that nobody understands, including you? Wow! So you basically push your opinions on them. Tell me, when your opinions are different than the church down the street who is right and correct? When YOUR opinions are different than a so-called bible scholar which of you is right? Did you teach them about the 33,000 mistakes found in the bible? That the gospel writings (stories) had no names on them? What was your explanation to these kids about "Ye are all Gods"? Ask your kids if they could walk 10 miles to listen to Jesus speak for 90 minutes and then walk back hom and sit down and write word for word what He had to say. Could you do that? I didn't think so! Have you taught your students what happened to Jesus's family after He was gone? I mean, because of course that is important....to know what happened to them and what they had to say about His life....right? Ask your students if they believe that God will never ever speak to us again. Let me know what their answer is! Ask them if Divine inspiration stopped hundreds of years ago. Depending on their age they may not be brainwashed just yet. Ask them if they will be OK with living their entire life with nothing but opinions (interpretations) on important subjects.

Actually, Methusalah(sp?), who was his grandfather was still alive but died right before the flood happened. His name literally means "when he is dead, it shall come".
