People are raising helpless man babies who couldn't protect their gummy bears from my little sister .... So sad. Unless the facts as told in this video are Incorrect. They always say not to blame yourself, and there's nothing you could have done. In this case it sounds like he should blame himself and there's a lot he could have done.

I’m sorry but her brother’s nonchalance is the primary reason the murder even happened in the first place. How do you see someone in camouflage with your sister, looking unhappy and saying “no, why” your mom screaming that’s not Drew, get a gun and you are still on the phone trying to call the same sister and Drew and everybody else and not the police or running out to find out what’s going on. It won’t surprise me if the brother is complicit. I’ve never seen a worse case of STUPIDITY. How could Holly have screamed so loudly that a neighbour heard, panicked and called their mom but the brother, in the house did not hear??? The house isn’t even big. The brother needs to take a lie detector test, this doesn’t make sense.

My thoughts exactly. I'd not be surprised to learn that the inmates are all innocent in her murder case, the phone of one of them even pinged elsewhere during a crucial timeframe. & Tbh the shady brother's story doesn't add up, the parents know but don't wanna lose him to prison. Look into what's referred to as normalcy bias: a "...cognitive bias which leads people to disbelieve or minimize threat warnings. Consequently, individuals underestimate the likelihood of a disaster, when it might affect them, and its potential adverse effects." (from Wikipedia) This would explain what her brother was likely dealing with in the moment. I'm sure the man is living in constant guilt for not having taken action, and I'm dismayed at the number of people who think he's to blame for what happened or is involved in some way.

Bruh to accuse the brother of being involved is unhinged. Dont act like everyone would do the same in an emergency situation or that everyone knows what to do or how to react. Hope you feel great hiding behind your pc screen saying this type of horrid shiz about the family of the damn victim. Go outside.

Something tells me, Holly's brother is not being as honest as he should be. I believe he knows exactly who walked Holly into the woods that day. If one of your parents tells you your sister is in danger and to grab a gun, you grab a gun. He hangs about and doesn't follow them into the woods. Why? Any other person would have ran after them and threatened to blow the guys brains out, but the brother phones his mother back and the police. I'm sorry but that's just to strange for my liking..

Watching other videos that cover this case - there is a theory that her brother had gotten involved with the wrong people, and that the family were in some sort of witness protection after the parents agreed to testify against a drug gang after the brother made contact with them. That's why the mother was so quick to know something was wrong and said to shoot whoever it was immediately. The brothers inaction and false description adds to the theory that he was still involved somehow. Personally i dont know what to believe, but that theory does back up several odd things in this case.

Thanks for remembering Holly. Her horrible murder must be a tragedy to all who knew her. The brother is a coward and did not protect his sister, so she is dead. I do not know whether he was involved with meth or knew the perps, but his response was unconscionable. It seems more likely the attractive Holly was targeted, because there is no rational reason why the perps would show up to learn how to make meth, then decide to segue to rape and murder. The two types of crime do not correspond.

Thanks again, Adrian. Something of a tangled web, here. How did they find she was raped? They had no body. What about the gun? Even her brother, who looked to see Holly with another by the garage. Before he opens the window, or goes down to her outside, he's ringing mom. He has access to a firearm, so why didn't he go get it and go to Holly? She and her abductor walked away, they didn't drive away. And her brother saw only one man with Holly, I'll come back to that point. The mom said to Clint 'That's not Drew! Grab a gun and shoot [the man]!!', at a point where nothing was known to have happened to warrant such a reaction. And then there's the suspects. The case hinged on Jason's testimony, which came about through pressure on him because Dylon implicated Jason with Zach in the case. I felt Dylon came with this story to alleviate the gun charges on him. Then there's a question - why would Dylon just drop his brother and Jason into the case like that, out of the blue? Possibly on coercion by the police, who were aware of Zach's drifting and drug addiction. A scapegoat. Jason, as well as Dylon, pins the murder onto Zack, which might give someone alarm bells on being onto something. Going by Jason's testimony, he was just an accessory after the fact. But then, his testimony was questionable. Jason said all three of them went to the house to meet with Clint, which Clint denies. Did Clint deny knowing them at all? Clint said one man went off with Holly, so where were the other two, if they ALL went to the house? And if the three of them were there for Clint, why didn't they just knock on the door for him? And remember, this was early morning, around the time the parents would leave the house. Why arrange to be there so early with the household up and present, aside from Clint? Then there's Zach's girlfriend at the time, who he threatened to dispose of as he did with Holly. Zach was said to have threatened Dylon likewise. Again, a hint in the right direction. All three found guilty of aggravated murder, rape and kidnap, so Jason was spared a lengthy jail term with time served, following his testimony against the brothers. I don't believe the three of them were there at the house for Clint. i wonder if one of them, possibly Zach since he was a drifter and addict, was there to steal, and was caught by Holly. She may have been familiar with Zach, since she didn't raise an alarm, or couldn't under threat, and so she was marched away into the woods, where the other two met with Zach. From then possibly came the plot to kill her. Neither Jason nor Dylon implicated each other in the rape nor murder, but we have their evidence Zach did so. Then they both helped Zach dispose of her body. At the end of it all, another life has been taken, innocently, viciously, and I feel the culprits have been found and judged. I don't think justice is doing enough to curb these murders, they seem too often. People are taking them up almost like a hobby, a pastime, a means to an end like a ride to the shops. The deterrence is not strong enough, after so many decades, it's deplorable.

Sounds like Clint knew it was not her boyfriend and how dire the situation was but was afraid to confront them or even go outside until they left with Holly. Given this is the south, it would be even harder for him to admit that both to himself and to the public when asked why he, as a man and her brother, didn’t intervene.

Thats why clint asked if she was going to school and why he didn't act right away, he was hoping she would leave it alone and go to school as he didn't want to get in trouble. I live in Nashville and remember this case well. It shows how incompetent police are and that this case should've been solved years before it was. Adrian if you want another case to research in Tennessee, look up the case of Tabitha Tudors. She went missing in 2003 walking to her school bus stop two blocks from her home here in Nashville and hasn't been seen since. She was last seen getting into a red car from a witness and thats the last known sighting of her. Police waited a couple of days before actually treating this as a missing persons case and then they decided to do a search. I volunteered for that search party and hardly any evidence was found. It's a,strange case that has gone down many different avenues.

7:05 Instead of going outside to see what was going on Clint called his mom to ask her if his sister was going to school or going home with Drew then his mom said, "That's not Drew! Shoot him!" Lets say her mom knew Drew was hunting on her parents or in laws land, how does she for sure know that wasn't Drew with Holly and why would she tell Clint to shoot him not knowing who it is or the situation? Again, why didn't her brother go outside to check on his sister knowing she was in distress? Do you not see how weird those actions are because that's 0 to 100 in an instant. Why is the mother is such a panic when she have no clue what's going on. Either you're not filling in the gaps or working with what you have. I find it very strange that the brother didn't do anything but call people and the mom freaking out for some apparent reason by your account.

Yes. It all seem very strange. Telling to shoot a person wh owas seemed to be talking with the daughter is seemed weird. If she was not at home how did she know it was not Drew. Also even after mom telling this why didnt brother didnt take any action? Her mother said to call 911 yet he didnt till he sees blood. Why didnt he atleast went outside and talked to the man? And why didnt Holly asked for help and walked with the murderer? This all seem very weird
@user-mz9ob6hq9z

They already said it wasn’t Drew because of the suspect’s body frame/height was taller. That’s how Clint also knew it wasn’t Drew as well. The mom was panicking because she was working in a different county which means calling 911 from her location wouldn’t help. She’s watching all this go on video at work after being alerted by her neighbor.

Of course he wouldn't admit that those guys were there to show him how to make meth. Why were they there? Such an egregious response to getting yelled at in a garage. Very busy.
