Dimash loves his fans, so calls us Dears, as we are dear to him, as family. He was born May 1994, making him 29 right now. He's 6 ft. 3 in., swims underwater for lung strength, writes/composes/acts/models. He has 7.7 octaves, sings in 15 or so languages, sings every genre, & Igor came out of retirement to compose for Dimash. Anytime you see Igor playing piano, it's something he's composed. The Singer performances in 2017 are a great way to follow how he began. Some songs have back stories as they are true, so it's a good idea to do that to understand the why, of them.

Actually this particular performance was during his ARNAU Concert (2019) in Astana, The song itself (performed by Dimash) premiered at the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus in 2019 (about a week before this concert if I'm not mistaken🙂).

Dimash is now 29. He has been trained from age 5. Classically and contemporary. He had a masters degree in musicology and is studying for his doctorate. He sings in multiple languages and plays 7 instruments. His latest Dudarai is proof of his versatility. He starts of traditional and then changes to a completely new genre.

Since you guys talked so highly of Igor, there is one thing that's worth noting. Igor Krutoy is the richest musician on the planet, he's been composing hits for many international artist for decades now, and he also produces many artists in Russia and Asia. He is worth something around 14 billion USD. He had more or less retired, and came out of retirement to work with Dimash. Dimash (and us too!) is very lucky to have him as a friend and mentor so early in his career..

Responding to some of your questions/commentary: 1) Dimash named his fans, “Dears,” for he considers his fans as dear to him as family. 2) He usually is involved or has input in every aspect of every performance and/or concert. 3) While he speaks primarily Kazakh & Russian, he also is learning & can converse in English & Chinese. 4) He sings in many languages & makes a point to sing a song in the language of whatever country in which he is performing his 3-4 hr concerts. While this list is NOT conclusive, I have heard him sing in: - Kazakh - Russian - English - Mandarin Chinese - Italian - French - Japanese - Ukrainian - Belarusian - Armenian - Turkish - Spanish - German - Serbian - Kyrgyz - Cantonese - Alien (aka “Diva Dance”) 😊 5) He loves all types of music & sings in many genres, usually fusing many genres into one song. 6) In addition to being a multi-instrumentalist & composer, he also is impressive at making his voice sound like many different instruments, including flute, violin, electric guitar, qobyz (Kazakh stringed instrument) & the duduk (Armenian wind instrument). Dimash was raised speaking Kazak and Russian. He has picked up on a lot of Mandarin, Chinese since 2017. He has been living in the U.S. off and on the past few months which has really improved his English. He is technically Dr. Qudaibergen. He completed his PhD this past spring. He then moved to the U.S. to attend the New York School of Fine Arts, Los Angeles campus, majoring in Film Directing. I have no idea how that has gone. Only that he has been jetting all over the world performing concerts and spent a few weeks in China participating in several events and concerts. He never seems to slow down. Like many in Kazakhstan, he is Eurasian. 6'3" tall, Muslim, kind, compassionate, loving, caring. He will go out of his way to spend a minute or two with babies, children and the disabled. Word has gotten out that he is a strong philanthropist but he absolutely will not discuss that, and media asking him about it makes him angry. Also, no one should ask him about a girlfriend, fiancé or wife. He has expressed a desire to get married and have children but I think for the time being, his band members have had babies and he is content playing with them and pictures are taken of him holding them on his chest while he is resting while on a plane.

It was composed specifically for Dimash for the 2019 European Games. With this song Dimash won, on December 5, 2019, the Victoria award (Russian equivalent of the Grammy) for best singer of the year, in the classical genre ("Best Vocalist in Classical Music").

Hello. Dimash fans are called Dears! If you want to see Dimash singing with himself look at "El amor en ti", performed in Spanish at Almaty concert. Dimash speaks the 2 official languages from Kazakhstan: Kazak and russian. He also speaks a little bit of mandarin and his english is improving day by day. He sings, I believe, in more than 15 languages, by phonetics and hard work, and the natives speakers of those languages, always say that they undersand him very well. Special atention to "Ikanaide" performed in Japanese was aclaimed by native speakers. Also "Autum Strong" in mandarin was very well received by chinese speakers. Kiss from Portugal.

The people in Dimash's fandom are called Dears. Now the difference from other fandoms is Dimash named his fans, he said because his fans are like close friends and family and they are dear to him. He has sung in 14-15 languages, but generally in his solo concerts he sings in English, Kazakh, Chinese, Russian, French, and Italian, and depending in which country he is in, he might throw in a song of that country's language. When he was in Turkey, he sang a Turkish song, in Armenia, an Armenian song, you get the drift. Igor is a famous composer/producer/singer/musician, but generally doesn't set up Dimash's stages. Lol. Unless its an Igor Krutoy concert, which Dimash has performed at. This video is from a Dimash solo concert in Astana, Kazakhstan in 2019. The Kinetic Voice. Welcome to the phenonemon that is Dimash. We are called Dears by Dimash as he says we are like his family and are very Dear to him 💕. Dimash sings in a reported 14 languages and he sings all genres of music from Opera to pop, rock, r&b, folk, jazz and he even raps in some of his songs and he does it all to perfection! You are going to be shocked and stunned at everything you see/hear from this amazing singer and human being. He is 29 yrs old, has studied music since he was 5 yrs old, plays numerous instruments, is a brilliant composer himself and beside all of that is the most humble, caring and lovely young man. He cares so much for people and all of humanity and is an advocate for world peace. He has spoken at some of his concerts about this and is regularly invited to speak at various forums, including Peace One Day and has just visited the United Nations in Geneva. He has composed 2 songs about peace, one in Chinese (War and Peace) and the other in English (Requiem: The Story of One Sky). His parents are both singers and have always been incredibly supportive of him, as have all of his family.
