I tried this many times, and even watched other videos, but I cannot get it to glow at all during the setup. using the latest unreal. When I create the item, and use a value of 15 or higher, it's just a white circle.. there is no glow what so ever. if I set the value to 1 - 5 then i can see the circle having the original color, but no glow.. what is the purpose for creating constant and converting it into a parameter?
@mediaguy95573 жыл бұрын
So that when you create a material instancer from the "Master material" (let's say your original material is blue color and it's non-reflective), you can tweak the Channel that has been converted to parameter. So you can have a Red color and reflective material by adjusting the base color and roughness value.
