Unreal Engine 4 Tutorial - How to Pause a Game

a lot of people show this same way yet always fail to mention it's biggest weakness. Pausing the game also pauses input so this pause is ONLY good if you only want to use the mouse to navigate. Wanna use the controller or keyboard on the paus menu, this won't work.

Actually, you can set „execute while paused (smth like that)” on input event node, so input will be read while game is paused

Question: How do you UNpause via same button. E.g.: Esc to Pause, they Esc or ResumeButton to unpause. One of the solutions I've found is adding of ListenForInputAction node with Consume checked in Widget, then creating Callback and connecting it to the same node that OnClicked(Resume) is connected to. ❗ But, SetGamePaused node turns off all Game input and ListenForInputAction simply don't works. (yes, I've tried placing SetInputModeGameAndUI instead of SetInputModeUIOnly)

Great tutorial. I'd like to see more of the ui tutorials, such as graphics settings or ingame musuc while pausing. I'm looking forward to get more experience using the unreal engine. It's one of the best engines I ever found. Thanks. XD

One thing I noticed is that I can open multiple menus at a time. By this I mean if I have one menu open, and want to open another one, that menu will open even though the menu widget is already open. I know it’s gotta do with the set input nodes but I still feel something is off.

Your video compression is too high, makes every blurry, even on 1080. Also, pressing the key to open the menu doesn't close the menu when pressed again.
