A function can be bound to a delegate. The node is called "Create Function". There you can select a function.

I see it like this, using public events to call from other blueprints that then run private functions in the target blueprint.

You forgot to include macros... those are functions as well, except, they input and output execution pins.

i initially did record a segment on macros, it made the video needlessly long so i cut it. Macro's aren't really functions, just a group of nodes packed together into 1 node, similar, but not quite the same (for instance, child classes can't use macros you made on their parent, because there is no function call for them). I might do a separate video on how they differ
