@Dan Lee Most people don't rest for 5mins between sets! 30 to 60 seconds is plenty. LEAVE THE PHONE IN THE CAR!, My workouts take about 2hrs to get done with cardio. IF I DON'T HAVE SOME A55H0LE TYING UP EQUPMENT ..
@StefanAdrian005 жыл бұрын
@@bradirwin5345 60 seconds are not plenty...u don't get more muscle if u rest less...atleast 3 minutes should u rest so u get most out of each set
@bradirwin53455 жыл бұрын
@@StefanAdrian00 i get a better pump ,along with increases in strength. I have been doing this for years .Also it depends if you are training for power lifting or staying in shape or body building .All have different routines. I enjoy doing supersets and can only train 3 to 4 times a week. Unleash the Beast ....Train hard. Gyms are made to sweat , if not go buy some skinny jeans and stop at Starbucks on your way home. Maybe try hot yoga instead?
@StefanAdrian005 жыл бұрын

Really good editing/production in this video... You guys keep getting better and better. And having the music volume lowered in the background, to hear the workouts/plates and grunts, works well. Awesome stuff as always John & Luke. 👍

High reps and moderate weight grow legs. Personally, my goal on leg day is to waddle out of the gym. Doesn’t always happen, but most of the time it does. All mental, just go and kill it!

@mountaindog1 what percentage of your leg workouts start with at least leg curl and/or leg extension pre-exhaust? Or maybe it's not pre-exhaust for you and just would be for me?
@lukethehulk54765 жыл бұрын
illestdomer2005 I’ve ran 2 of johns programs and most all his leg days start with either lying or seated ham curls. It’s not really to pre-exhaust as much as it’s there to get your legs warmed up and primed for the heavier compound exercises.

I think it’s unfair for ped users to denounce over training. Obviously when you have synthetic hormones to aid in recovery, tough training sessions will be more tolerable.

the issue is, people cry about overtraining, when they dont even train hard to begin with
