The Mark Menza tracks have a lot of hip hop and rap influence I feel. Might explain the GT rap. I actually liked it. I like when localized animes embrace more culture from other sources than just Japan.

I love the Japanese DBGT but the USA one is very cool like a dark future tone distorted and funky hip hop sounds cool. I like that it sounds scary and dark like the most strongest level.

@@indepth9930 It sounds very similar because it's mostly atonal jazz. Music without a key center will have no home. And it's hip hop inspired/funk drums and bass are very cool. But that's exactly what makes gt soundtrack very creative and different. It has my respect.

Best music in Saiyan history!! Screw the haters... Who don't like GT. There's a lot to love about GT. The Baby, Super 17, and Shadow Dragon Sagas, Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, the recap narrations, and the Step Into the Grand Tour theme song. Step into the Grand Tour... BEST. SONG. EVER!!! With the slapping, funky bass guitar and slamming drums... I can't get enough of Step Into the Grand Tour! Only REAL and diehard Dragon Ball fans are known to love Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT! Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT are the BEST with the American soundtrack! The Japanese soundtrack SUCKS! The music doesn't have the same dramatic impact and effect compared to Bruce Faulconer and Mark Menza's music. Although I love Cha-La Head Cha-La and Dan Dan Kokoro Hitareku. Dragon Ball Z Kai SUCKS. Gohan and Frieza's voice actresses get replaced. No Bruce Faulconer music. The fights don't feel the same compared to Z. The only thing that's GREAT about Kai is the opening theme song, Dragon Soul.

My own alternate recap twist: Last time on GEEE TEEE... With Baby having successfully infiltrated the bodies of Goten and Gohan, it was time for the deadly parasite to infect Vegeta. But the Prince of all Saiyans wasn't going to let the parasite take that chance... Without a fight. Unable to resist the truth stating it was the Tuffle race who had gained the power to conquer the Earth, they had destroyed the most known planet of them all. The planet named after the Prince of all Saiyans. Planet Vegeta. Angered by the truth of the Tuffles destroying the planet named after his father with the aftermath of his father being killed by Frieza, Vegeta was fighting with all his might to regain back his control. But with the sinister Baby already infecting his body at a rapidly swift pace, he soon targeted the heart of Vegeta's mind. The very thing to control him. His brain. With the Prince of all Saiyans, now in full control of the mastermind, the parasitic Baby now sets his eyes to take over the Earth. But little did he know, Baby was going to get a surprise visit from a Saiyan powerful enough to just be the winning ticket to stop him. The Saiyan Goku. Will Goku be able to stop the madness of this tyrant from taking over Mother Earth without hurting the ones he loves who are his friends and family? Ultra Instinct Goku Black it wasn’t/isn’t popular but it’s funky and subdued unlike Faulconer’s which was more in your face. Japanese OST for GT fucking slaps though and I wish they’d kept it
