Hi Mike, interested video. I have two ‘70s pressings (including an A3 B3) and the 30th Anniversary and on each of them Money is the best-sounding track. Apparently this is also the case with the version you are describing. Somehow this must have ended up as the best-recorded track, must have been something in the air at Abbey Road that day!

@@davids.816 i used to own the 30th Anniversary : too bright ! The best part of the story, was when you were presented with that copy of D.S.O.T.M. and all hell broke loose with your emotions. I have been in that spot a few times when you realize what you are holding record-wise, the rarity of it. You just stop listening to the person talking cause you just want to pay for the record and be done with it. Very envious! Luckily I own the 30th, cause the BG CUT IS NOT EVEN CLOSE.

There are probably more copies in circulation than you think. Labels don’t go out of their way to press “heavy cardboard” jackets for less than a few hundred copies (at least). The set up is quite costly for just 10 copies to then just scrap the project. That’s why test pressings come in plain white jackets.
