(just copying and pasting this comment to help with the algorithm and raise my chances of you seeing this) I think you just stumbled onto a great idea I kinda already thought of you as a rouge ancient human ai that got away from the forerunners and are cataloging everything about humanity and it's adversaries so we do not forget about ourselves and to give us an edge in the form of intelligence and lorecore could just be the other side of you kind of like a split personality because of how long you've been alone watching and waiting to be found but since he talks about over realities and their respective techs and people's maybe he's just another you from the many universes doing a very similar job...I love doing world building and this April fool's joke could be something big if some thought is put into it

I don't know if this topic comes in Lore and Theory or most detailed breakdown but, can you do a video on forerunner teleportation technology. I know you've done one on slip space but this is the thing that promethean battlewagons do where they blink towards you.

Games often depart from reality halo also suffers from lazy riders no doubt in anyone’s mind the most common humanoid robot if the technology would exist would basically be a sex toy most of them would probably look like a human female.

Well u have human fear that stopped the advancement of Probable spartan like AI mechs.. & for cheaper combat drones probably used most of them during the first years of the wars & once Humanity started losing, they switch to just Organics forces & converted any remaining drones into recon & kamikaze units.. near the end of the war, all resources were given to the Navy & ground forces to build ships & vehicles for them.. short answer, lack of trust in the tech & The branches wanted money for their own needs.

Cable Aragon Cable Aragon: that’s the thing normal smart AI like Rowan, can’t they have hardwire protocols in their programming that keep them from doing so.. Cortana different, she had those safety protocols disabled & advanced with forerunner tech, she’s everything the top brass fear would happen..

I think the real reason there are no bipedal AI is because bipedal vehicles are really hard to make. It would be much easier for the UNSC to design something that floated or levitated using thrust or anitgrav tech. In addition we did not see mantis designs until after the halo incident. Could the Mantis be based off some forerunner technology? Those legs do look a little thin to support a vehicle if that size. While on the subject, the Mantis is a stupid design. Yes it has energy shields but apart from that a spartan could take one down with their bare hands. It is such a top heavy design plus its weapons load out makes it weak firing and it's slow. A very disappointing design.

I think the Mantis was one of several developments made from Project Yggdrasil using technology created for the Mjolnir armor. It’s the reason the Mantis has a compact fusion reactor, neural interface, and energy shields.

Actually, the Spirit of Fire, an outdated ship, has bipedal mechs on board and ready to go and they looked nothing like the Mantis. They were big, bulky and had arms fitted with weapons. There's also the Mark-I prototype which would wipe the floor with any Spartan regardless of how good they are. Especially seeing as just a single one was capable of holding back an invading Covenant force on its own for long enough to get whoever was left on the planet evacuated. There are more mechs in the UNSC's arsenal than just the Mantis.
