I've been watching your channel for years, and there is one thing that stands out more than anything else. Do you know what it is? It's your unrelenting and unwavering INTEGRITY! You two live, eat, drink, and sleep truth, truth, truth all the time! That in itself is phenomenal and clearly defines who you both really are. Thank you so very much for always being righteous! May GOD continue to bless, guide, and protect you both (and Daisy) always!

Enjoyed Tara’s nostalgic ride back to Greenville, Oh, to visit her old high school and old neighborhood and the house she grew up. Enjoyed the ride-along. We just bought an Grand design RV Imagine XLS 22MLE. Been watching KZbin RV videos for the last couple of years trying to learn the ropes. Chads technology videos are great. Made my living as a software developer for 20 years, so I’ve always tried to stay on top of technology. Also Navy Dec 7th,1971-77 (turned 21 in boot camp… LOL) AMS (aviation metal-smith) land based. Wish I would requested carrier duty, missed opportunity. All the best.

@devitomichael Жыл бұрын
Let the past go. What was so damn great about your past? I used to think the same way. I always wondered what it would be like to return to places of my past, and so I did. I even went back to my old military base in Fort Ord California, clear across the country. I had always thought it was going to be some intense nostalgic reconciliation with my past, and I guess it was, just not nearly in the way I thought. To my surprise I couldn’t wait to leave! I couldn’t wait to leave my past in the past and leave all of that nonsense behind me. Just because I remember something doesn’t mean there’s anything actually worth remembering. If anything the past is nothing but missed opportunity. Just imagine all of the ideas you’ve entertained that other people actually followed through with and became wealthy in some way. I like 5th wheels, but not enough to LIVE in one! I’m 53 years old now, and with that age came the wisdom to tell the difference between toys vs opportunity cost. Sure, I’ll park a toy hauler on my property, but I’m not living in it! I asked my kids if they would ever consider the freedom of traveling the country and living in a toy hauler and even they, an 11 year old son and a 13 year old daughter, immediately arrived at the most obvious conclusion, why? And then I remembered the last vacation we went on, we took an airplane and rented a convertible Camaro and a house on Lake Tahoe for 10 days …but we had a HOME and a school and friends to come back to once we were finished playing! I’m not so sure that conflating the very serious business of life with one’s toys is such a great idea. A nomadic lifestyle seems a bit antithesis to the responsibilities of modernity. We can even take our cues from nature itself. Metaphorically speaking roots need to take hold BEFORE anything of any significance can grow. What are you going to leave your children, a truck and a toy hauler filled with memories? Again, wtf is so great about your memories? Is there not a single memory that you wouldn’t cherish even more if it was just a better memory? Again, just because you remember something that’s been prioritized in your mental storage value hierarchy, of what value is it really? I don’t have a single memory that I wouldn’t trade for a better one, and that is the problem with prioritizing your own biased events of the past over your now and future. This is a very bad habit of the Ego that people as they get older just love to entertain. If you really love memories so much, get out and make more! …just don’t betray your own existential footprint while doing so.

Hi Chad & Tara! I am also very familiar with Maid Rite loose meat sandwiches. I grew up in a small town in IL, population of about 18k, and we also had a Maid Rite restaurant, (minus the gum wads on the outside walls). It was one of my favorite places to eat, but then I miss a lot of good places to eat in my hometown. Enjoy your videos!

Being from TN and having a large toy hauler I can say that many of our state parks are not big rig friendly. Our first outing in our 43V13 was in TN state park and I hung the ladder on a tree…it took several people spotting to get me through the campground

Great video guys. You know ya'lls videos are always a treat when they come out. Seems sometimes the videos that are bloopers or outakes, whatever you want to call them, are as good as some of the others. It would be interesting if someone put out videos of rigs that have been redone or modified ( if there's not one out there already). Really good to see Daisy is making sure Chad is getting his exercise. She might get upset if she ever figures out he's tricking her. HA God bless ya'll and stay safe on the roads out there.

You made the trip out of that park look ez...lol. I have been on some narrow roads in my time, but none quite that narrow. My truck n Trailer at the time were 80ft Long, 13' 2" High, 8ft 6"wide, empty weight was near 34,000lbs, loaded up to 80,000lbs. Had a lot of fun, at least the last 6yrs of the 21yrs of truckin' was good. You two have never failed me with one of your videos yet, but leaving the boss home does not score very well for her, poor little thing. Happy Trails, Rich n Pat

We went to one state park campground here in PA where we had to come in the wrong way to park our trailer into the site. Fortunately we arrived on a non-busy day and another camper and the ranger told us to come in the wrong way, so that did work and was fine. It was a steep gravel type road.

I absolutely loved the tour of Greenville! I grew up in Greenville but didn't get to graduate high school from there. I'm much older than you so my memories of the area are a little different. Surprisingly, the park was fairly familiar and the streets had an "I'm home" feel. Seeing the town square brought back memories of putting soap in the fountain and men getting put in stocks for an hour for not growing a beard for Annie Oakley days. I could go on and on about the wonderful memories of growing up in Greenville. Thanks!

Another state park to beware of because it is beautiful but really tight for bigger rigs is Paris Mountain State Park in Greenville, SC. It's a narrow, winding mountain road to the campground, we have a 40' class a and I had to drive up ahead in the jeep to stop cars coming down so we could get around some of the corners, not a fun trip at Christmas, lol.

Mousetail landing is ridiculous. It's high spots are steep and it's low spots flood. I worked/travel for the telephone company up there in zparsons and Decaturville. That area has some beautiful spots but the Tennessee River in that section floods with ridiculous massive water level changes. The majority of the RV parks there are in flood zones and get flooded all the time...not just slight flooding, I'm talking up to 20 ft deep flooding. We stayed there about a year and we extremely and very highly recommend "Green Acres" RV Park over in Savannah, TN. It is well maintained, great facilities and the owners, Phil and Tammy are amazing and friendly. Tell em Eric and Robin Stewart sent ya!! We thought about buying property there too, but their mountain and hilltop roads can be crazy for RVs and the majority of the homes look like they were built by the same builder in 1957 with only 2 floor plans and one type of brick to choose from. Sweetheart people there, but in the end we booked it to Juno Beach in Florida. But, Mousetail Landing, ridiculous.

Your videos are always a good source of informations for travelling, repairs and maintenance!!! Presently I have a water problem with my Class C which doesn't happens all the time, but is a pain when it does. When I connect my water hoze on the city line connection, without warning (not a regular situation), it will fill my dry camping fresh water holding tank also. I have no idea what is causing this... I have talk about this problem and the 3 solutions are the most common... - replace the water pump..... actually, my pumps works great, and honestly, I don't see why I should replace it since city water shouldn't pass by the pump - use a water pressure regulator and keep pressure at 45 PSI max. I have notice also that the problem shows when I have goor water pressure. - there is somewhere a kind of check valve on the line coming from the pump which connects on the city line which is malfunctionning. What is your opinion on this problem ?
