Oh... this class was supposed to be 58 minutes??? I’ve been on it for 3 hours 😐. It was EXCELLENT!! Thank you SO MUCH for the time you are taking to do this. I live in Australia, and feel so frustrated when I hear of what is available in Utah. I have been flying over each year for Education Week for the last 9 or so years, but not everyone can do this. So when someone of your calibre puts something like this up... understand that it is a real gift for us! The lessons are spot on with the scriptures and the Spirit is powerful. A huge THANK YOU!!!! 💕

Thank you so much! I'm grateful you've found these lessons to be a blessing. I just feel bad that you have to listen to them in an American accent when the Australian one is so much better on the ears! But thank you for watching. It's nice to have a friend Down Under!

Thank you for your Explanation for SINNNER. That the sins are many are forgiven. With the addition of “Come, Follow Me” lessons. I’m going back to Book of Mormon for more Scriptures lessons. I really do appreciate your time and instructions of the scriptures in video form in a great library. So, I can go back and get more education to get closer to our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Great lesson, we could apply the atonement of Jesus Christ in our lives while we were in the preexistence with our Father in Heaven.

FYI.. i just checked my bible. St Luke 7:39. I do have a 3N sinner !! Thank your for all your efforts. Though lagging behind, Arjeree and I do follow your lessons and then I go back and mark my scriptures. Glad to announce that i do see more marginalia on my scriptures now. (Honestly, for over 2 decades, I've been trying to find the Book of Mormon manual institute edition, printed before 1980. I was fortunate to read one back in 1980 in the Philippine; and it has so much insight but had to return it back to the church library as we were moving out of the ward. We had the opportunity to go to Deseret but i could not find pre 1980 edition then nor ever after. You are doing such a fantastic job !! THANK YOU AGAIN !!

Thank you, Ed! I'm grateful we got connect again over scriptures! And I know the manual you're talking about--much thicker back in those days! I'm sorry I don't know how to find one either :( I guess we'll have to go straight to the Source and look for our own insights! Those ones usually stick better anyway! I hope you guys are doing well!

The baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost is a significant event in the life of any baptized believer. We should not think that the things that the people of King Benjamin received can be had in any other way: remission of sins, no more desire for evil, great views (the gift of prophecy), becoming the sons and daughters of Christ, and fully taking upon us the name of Christ (we become his seed, see Mosiah 15:10-12). This is something that is bestowed on us from Christ or the Father - no mortal man can give us the gift of the Holy Ghost in any way; we can only make ourselves worthy. (2 Nephi 31:12-13; 3 Nephi 12:1-2; Enos 1:2). I am not sure why nobody seems to talk about the baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost, even though it is plainly taught throughout the Book of Mormon. Every member of the church should be seeking for this, but sadly most do not, because they think it is a slow trudge through life until we have endured to the end, and can be saved; I don't think the scriptures teach this. Alma (Mosiah 27:24-27) made it clear that ALL people MUST have this experience. I am interested in your take on this.

Beautiful insights! I agree that the baptism by fire is an underappreciated, under-discussed, but central part of the gospel. Perhaps because, as you said, it isn't something offered by mortal man, we don't talk about it in the programmatic way we do with so many other parts of the gospel. But it reminds me of something Pres. James E. Faust taught in a First President message years ago: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ensign/1999/08/lost-horizons?lang=eng. Thanks for sharing!

When King Benjamin refers to the group as his friends, brethren, kindred, and people isn’t he demoted erring to 4 different relationships he has with this group. Some are friends, some are brethren, etc. He doesn’t necessarily have a friendship relationship with all of them.
