Brother H! Over two years ago my returned missionary son confided SO happily how much he received from your classes as one of your UofU Institute students. It was an answer to this mother's prayers for him to receive the guidance and answers that I could not provide! To this day we quote your quoting of the prophet Joseph Smith about the balancing of contraries! I sang hallelujah when he alerted me to the launching of your KZbin channel Unshaken! It was a glorious gift and huge tender mercy from our Eternal Father when my wish to be privy myself to your classes was afforded me in the throes of and actually in direct consequence of the pandemic. The nature of my self-employment affords me the opportunity to listen to and ponder again and again your insights...and even more importantly make application! I am returned now today July 5th 2022 to this particular lesson. A dear friend of over 14 years who was born and raised a Jew is now in the process of searching the Book of Mormon, Jesus the Christ, and receiving the missionary discussions, and I and others in my circle and Ward are blessed to watch from front row seats the transformations she is going through! I can't even tell you a thousandth part of this journey....hers and mine and those connected! I long for the day when I can introduce her and myself to you in person! You have been so influential in her journey in both of our journeys! I invited her to listen to you over a year ago while she said she would consider it it really came about with this last April conference when we did a marathon of both days of conference from 6:00 in the morning on Sunday to 8:00 that night and her witness of President Nelson as a prophet of God was breathtaking! And a shock actually to both of us! I don't know if you will see this since these comments may not be reviewed for some time to come if at all but throughout every class please know that I have wanted to reach out and exclaim assurances to you and yours how absolutely timely and specific each of your lessons have been for me personally and so many others in this journey! I must close this but Angels all around you and yours in this work! Hurrah for Israel!!!🙏🙏🙏💞

There is such a devotion to the yearning to be more like Jesus. So when I begin to understand the teachings of the prophets I realize just how short I fall towards the mark. You have no idea how much you sharing your insights to the scriptures help me to better understand the messages contained within them. You will indeed tire of the 'thank you's' I will throw your way.

Thank you, Henry. I'm grateful these lessons are a blessing to you. I know what you mean about falling short of the mark, but if that fall introduces us to the Savior, then it was definitely a fall "forward"!

I love these done 4 yrs ago. They are so informative and direct. Faster moving. I no longer have to speed them up to get through them yet I am getting all the info without the tangents. In fact I am pausing more as we are staying in the scriptures. Love the comments as they are not as long winded but the real feast is in the scriptures . Loving the spiritual feast. Thank you so much. Wish I had found these in 2020.

Wonderful teaching, I can envision my Lord asking every minister and pastor what they thought about the BOM as His first question to them ❤ VANA

I don't believe the Lord would ask a question like that. The Lord will ask them what did you learn from the words of the prophets and what did you do with your life after you read my words I have spoken to all. After death we will all see our life review because the books will be open, then we will see what you did with the words of the prophet. Did you keep those words to yourself or did you share those words with others? We will all get to see the good the bad the ugly especially if there was no repentance in our lives. The Lord said, if there is no repentance of your unworthy activity, you can not imagine how Exquisite the pain will be. Either you're for Me or against My Word. Did you consume every word that was spoken by the prophets or did you reject them?

Dear Bro Halvorson, this is my 2nd year going thru the BoM with you, concurrent with this year's CFM curriculum. Your in depth coverage and insights are invaluable in helping my wife and I, active converts for 53 years, continue to feast on the scriptures and minister in this faster-falling world. I hope you can keep this up for the full 4 years. Can you please? :) In any case, what an incredible gift this is in bringing us INTO His word and centering us to be unshaken. Our most humble thanks for this gift, this example of His love thru you. Chris

Brother Halverson, I know you are recording in a new place and that it is better for you and your family. One thing I have noticed (since I am hard of hearing) is that the sound is more muted and more difficult for me to understand - especially when I listen to your podcasts now. I have to turn the volume on my iPhone all the way up and still have to listen carefully to understand you. This was not a problem in the last 3-4 years. Is there any way to turn up the volume for the podcasts? I would really appreciate it. I listen to your podcasts every week and appreciate them so much. Thank you!

48:25 ya um, I’m not that confident. I did start a talk with “I ran this talk by my husband, he told me to change the whole thing. “ I insert comedy to dispel my nerves, not just to get attention.

Jared, thanks for your efforts to help us to come unto Christ. Very interesting story about the evangelical. At the beginning of your presentation, you are showing the artwork from Come Follow Me Book of Mormon 2020. About 1/3 of the artwork and video is promoting the Mesoamerican Model of Book of Mormon Geography. You know the church is neutral on geography. However SOME Intellectuals and scholars are hijacking church history and promoting a false geographical setting. CES, Book of Mormon Central, BYU, Meridian Magazine, Ensign, etc. are all hijacking church history and the setting for the Book of Mormon. Why would King Benjamin bother to build a tower next to a giant Mayan Pyramid? Wouldn't it be easier to take a few steps up the Mayan Temple? Exodus 20:25-26 tells us that altars have to be made of cut stone and no stairs. It violates the Law of Moses. These Mayan temples have human sacrificial altars at the top. This would be an abomination! 25 And if thou wilt make me an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn astone: for if thou lift up thy btool upon it, thou hast polluted it. 26 Neither shalt thou go up by asteps unto mine altar, that thy nakedness be not bdiscovered thereon. You need to look at Ancient Monuments of the Mississippi Valley by Squire and Davis. It was published in 1848 and the drawings inside describe the earthen mounds and fortifications built by the Hopewell and Adena people which corresponds very well with the Nephite and Jaredites. You can clearly see ramps in some of the drawings. The Book of Mormon is true. It testifies of Christ and it happened in America, the promised Land!

Thanks, Bruce! Great points. Years ago I was asked to lead "Book of Mormon tours" in Mesoamerica and the organizers were so dogmatic about locations that I chose not to participate. Ever since, I've tried to remain neutral on geographic issues (and having no artistic talent myself, I'm at the mercy of images I can find online), grateful that "the fulness of [the Book of Mormon's] intent" is to persuade people to come unto Christ. So I'll take Christology over geography any day!

Your hair is dark . This was amazing lesson of the importance of Gods word. A great difference between those that had Gods word and those that didn’t , leads to wandering in the mist of darkness. We take for granted all we have pertaining to scriptures . Hold to the rod.

I don't believe the angelical Christians understand the definition of works like we do. The scriptures are full of doing the work of the Lord and those who are in need period we are all in need throughout the world. We don't classify the works like the world's definition of works only the scriptures definition of works. Working in the vineyard is wonderful. It is a rewarding experience just to work with the Lord and walk with His spirit everyday, it's just something you can't help wanting to do. It is not a work it is a pleasure and privilege. It's too bad so many people don't know the definition of works and pleasure working hand in hand with the Lord everyday. I think we would call works just overabundance of gratefulness.
