Strategy School is the first of many Tutorials I'd like to create to support both new & rusty Civilization VI players. Episodes cover two to three topics at most, covering fundamentals from both the core game and its first expansion. By series end, I hope to have taught something new to players at a variety of skill levels.

7:52 I’ve tested this in the recent version, about a month ago, and it seems as if you now can earn more XP even if the bar is full and you’re eligible for promotion.

11:22 - You don't have to take Alpine to get Ambush. The dashed line shows that you can go Ranger, Guerrilla, Ambush.

I think you missed some of the districts when you looked through the tech tree - there was a red one and a green one at the bottom of the tree early on.

So what about the theater district that you have to choose art or archeology? Is it ok to build multiple districts of the same type to get all the different options?

Quick question Hadrian: At the 9:00 minute mark where the barb scout is left alive with almost no hit points, if you had stepped left into the woods first, would you not have given yourself a combat bonus and more likely have finished him off? Additionally you'd be blocking him from the more direct route to discover your city.

The population restriction on the number of districts you can build contributes to one of the reasons why I like to play Germany so much. Free Imperial Cities lets you build one more district than what your population allows, which makes Campus --> Commercial Hub ---> Hansa spamming oh so much easier. That and civ leaders with kick-ass beards are the best.

I STRONGLY recomend some basic mods. Removable districts and production queue is a must. Otehrs are fun/good/usefull but soem are really "should have been in the abse game FRO SURE". The game is not 100% without them.

On the whole this is good, but so much waffle. Your 30 minute videos could easily be cut down to 20mins or less

I agree with you. I think the main issue is that I am trying to merge the let's play and tutorial formats, and that just might not work for the type of topical videos I'm trying to do. I am likely to restart this series once gathering storm is out. And I will probably make the videos entirely topical. Which will make them shorter.
