I would see Luke as a preacher seriously he speaks with such sincerity and easyness I love it thank God for his life and the life of his brother ❤️

I bought the movie, thank you for sharing your story. I have memoirs of some of those instances. As a single parent I am teaching my daughter how to follow Jesus to live a good life.

Good interview. Glad to hear Luke more. Usually Joel does most of the talking. The importance of marriage and family cannot be over estimated. I read Helen Smallbone’s book. Good, impactful read. The power of love and faith. Looking forward to seeing the movie. I have my ticket already.

Awesome that your 11 year old son wants to still hold your hand! Savor every moment!! My son is a 34 year old beautiful human being, son, father and husband and I am so grateful and proud! I would love to be able to walk with him holding his hand!! My granddaughter is still willing to hold my hand! Extension of my son’s love!! Thank you, Lord, for our families!!

Many kids in family did not have parents that spoke belief over them, but the opposite. Even as a grown mature adult, they still don't, yet there is a inner knowing there is a call. When there is "0" around to support you, its extremely difficult to figure out how to break all that off, then find a way out of the place, position they have literally "put" you in and try to keep you there, speak against anything else. It's so sad. I could only dream to have parents like this, who sacrifice/support you

I take a sabbath day on Sunday after church. I do the laundry for the church and our I-HELP guests. That's about 15 loads. Since we only have 1 washer & dryer I have lots of alone time. I do my bible studies and just spend the quiet time with God. On Wednesday we have what some of us call laughter therapy. We play games after we have lunch at church. I tell people at our table we have the blind, deaf, and the demented (dementia). Ok some of the rest of us tend to get a little demented at times. I also tell them we cheat. We help those that need help but that means we're looking at other people's hands. Sometimes we spend more time laughing than playing. Most all of us refuse to schedule appointments on Wednesday's. We cut up and have a great time. I guess you should know we all live in an age restricted city. It's gotten now that we go to another church on Tuesday nights to play with them. It seems most nights there are more of us than them. We've grown from 1 table to 2 and we are just as rowdy (lacking a better word) there. They used to be quiet and sedate 😂. Having laughter time makes the mundane, bad and busy days easier to handle!

I miss my Dad, who passed away with dementia. The month before he passed, I was staying with him in his assisted living apt., because Mom was recovering from pneumonia at a nursing home. The Lord gave me a special moment when I took Dad to his last doctor appointment. He was too agitated in the waiting room so the receptionist took us down the hall to sit in chairs close to his doctor's office. I felt a tap on my arm and looked at Dad, who had a smile and said, Thank you for taking care of me, Karen. Seconds later he was no longer lucid. It was the first time in 8 years that he had called me by name.

My dad also died of dementia. It's a horrible disease. But he's no longer suffering and I know I'll see him again. May God bless you hon.

My dad died, not of dementia but of a heart condition. He went in to get a heart valve replaced. He never came out. My Mom thankfully is still with us. Well her body is. She has dementia. It’s heartbreaking to go see her now. It’s not the same thing I know.
