very pretty altho I do think the turning would look better if the model didn't snap into place, make it a smooth turn maybe?

Agreed, I am an avid player of the game Path of Titans and I feel like the smooth turning animation in that game would be good reference

​@@kattteethwell, as i do agree with you and the og comment, we all need to remember that the game needs funding, and most likely that not all features are implimented, so we should give this game some time as it might not even end up getting proper funding. so, in reality we must wait and see. /lh and im not trying start a fight in the comments or anything, im just saying 😅 /gen

@@xxfaiththestarbeastxx nah totally, but criticism is always important and there's nothing wrong w leaving a comment on a trailer/demo so the devs can see the critique when the project is funded. On funding trailers and other things like this, criticsm is VERY common.

Beautiful scenery and gorgeous creature design. Constructive feedback: The creature feel like they need a bit more weight to them, heavier footsteps and their leaps are a bit floaty. Other than that, amazing all round!

Hey Hauket! This looks absolutely amazing but I have one piece of advice. The jumps look wayyyy too floaty. I know it's just a demo right now, but for the final release, you might wanna have more weight to the jumps!

OHH MY GOD THIS LOOKS SO NEAT?? I am absolutely keeping my eye on this it looks fantastic so far and talk about an incredibly unique concept. Sure survival games have been done, but I don’t think I’ve seen one like THIS done with Alien creatures or on such a stunning planet. As an individual who absolutely loves anything otherworldly, I’m watching this closely and as soon as I can I’ll try to give my support. This looks amazing so far! Im usually skeptical on these types of games cuz many use assets to showcase their game which isnt entirely bad but kinda gives false advertising if not stated. I wanna know if you guys have plans on making any cat-like creatures since i believe this one is somewhat based on a dog by the looks of it? I cant wait to see more of this game!

This looks pretty great. One thing: the walk cycle feels a little too light, like the creature's weight isn't actually shifting and stepping against the ground. Similarly, the run cycle should be like a jump off of the ground, a land on front paws that drag the creature forward, and another hard kick off. Right now, the run cycle doesn't seem to have enough gravity.

So what do you want then? Stuff that glows in the dark and is unnatural coloured? XD I'm confused as to what exactly you expect entirely unimportant parts of the game to look like. Noone is making 'special' gras, rocks, trees and a skybox for every game. If that's your standard for passing you should probably lower them since the vast majority of great games have 'normal' nature in them.

@@MrDacedric That still doesn't answer my question, but ok. ....did you even read the title then?? Or understand what it means for that matter? It says Demo Preview. And the description also states it's a creature survival game that's in developement. I'm also not sure how you can call the environment bland when there is many areas that are factually NOT average and seldom ever found in games the way they look here. Be it the ruins, pond/lake or the rock arches, etc.. They are by no means bland really. It's also not a dinosaur btw, it's a creature that was created by the creator of this game (anatomy, behavior, sounds likely too and the colourations they have were all made up by the creator). Dinosaurs didn't look like that, at all. They are closer to dogs than dinosaurs tbh. XD

⁠​⁠@@MrDacedricthe isle, path of titans, beasts of bermuda, and creatures of sonaria are all games where you simply run around as a dinosaur and theyre doing just fine lmao the environment and creatures in this game are actually more diverse than those three games, so id say if they give the game more interesting mechanics then itd actually get a large playerbase. if its not your type of game, its not your type of game. but fans of that exact genre exist fyi
