@Acceleration Quanta you're right, I should've researched it b4 opening my big mouth! 😜 Radiation after a bomb dissapears by up to 80% even after just 1 day. I thought it would be much longer. I think WW III has already begun. Chemical/viral war. If it ever goes nuclear, them I'm afraid a susbstantial percentage of the human race could be wiped out. Let's hope that never happens!

I can picture my old self, in a not so far future, after the end of the beginning of the end, when mass extinction is behind us and we just gather what we can of the old world . In a small room, smoking again some nefarious tobacco( at light years from long gone relative fitness ), light bulb flickering, my half home made dynamo supplying barely enough juice for a low-fi stereo found in the dump nearby , listening a copy of a copy of a copy of some ICA's music... until some random thief or scavenger will force my door, and stare, and blink, seeing only an old decayed guy, listening static with a delighted face .

This is one of the only tracks I've found here that does not have this prevalent low-pitch ambient drone in the background (that many other of your mixes do have). Having a headache where almost everything makes the head hurt, I just want to relax to something. I knew that some ambient from here would be able to help me. But of the few that I've tried, all of them weight painfully because of that heavy drone in the background. And this one, of everything on your channel, despite being supposedly very pessimistic and dark - somehow me the soothing atmosphere without that low-frequency sound weighing painfully on my temples. All the while headphones shield me from the outside world a bit, making the external sounds hurt less. Thank you for this specific mix. As I'm writing this, it helps me feel better.

Things are getting out of hand not to far from here (rus v ukr). my son caught an infection and had to go to a hospital with my wife watchin over him, and I'm taking a longer route back from the garage as the fog sets in. the street lights are turned off due to energy savings in my city and this is playing right now on my phone and my headphones. this feels so... calm. I started to embrace the night. she became my adddiction, my escape.

It's a mix/re-mix of individual tracks, like most videos on this channel. I don't think a lot about it when I do it, though. I just mix my favorite sounds together: metallic creaking, distant cries, slow gongs and crash cymbals, deep bass rumbles, bass guitar notes, distant explosions, eerie horror-movie synthesizer drones, de-tuned pianos, distortion (radio, guitar, otherwise). I try to keep the pacing very similar to Brian Eno's long-spaced style, only his stuff is usually not so dark.
