My family and I attended a couple games down in Danbury. We travelled down to see the Adirondack team play them. Mrs. Galante came over introduced herself with her daughter. They thanked us for coming down to their games and gave us a bag with shirts and hats lol. Nice family, very warm and welcoming I have to say. Jimmy is truly a family guy, loves his kids. I did witness A.J. nearly go berserk back in Adirondack when Danbury visited but all is good, they were fun times 👍

You nailed it. Unreal story. It sounded like a movie, something scripted, except it was all real. And was about the equipment manager? He looked right out of Trainspotting. I would love to see this team back. I noticed they have a website and sell jerseys, but man, are they expensive (about 300 dollars).

I really wanted to watch this after a guy at work was talking about it - I made it about 15 minutes and realized whoever made it decided that a documentary should have a continuous soundtrack of irritating music and that it should be a little too loud. I fast forward and saw that it continues through the whole thing. I don't know why they did that, but it made it unwatchable to me - drop the music on your next documentary - just wanted to hear the principle characters telling their story, not imagine I was standing in an elevator or Kmart for an hour and a half. EDIT - see some comments disagreeing - trying to watch it again right now, and background music is non stop - mass irritating. I am in Canada - maybe Netflix Canada and American Netflix have different versions? Maybe the US one has no background music. If so, I wish we got it here, because this is something I would like to watch, but with this ridiculous soundtrack it is just awful.

There were literally 2 songs that I can recall and I just watched it for the second time. They were a little pointless and even out of place, but it was 2 goofy songs spaced out one near the beginning and one near the end.

They ruined not only good sport but a whole league went down with them. Not something to ever admire. From a Danbury native who lives near the Glens Falls Ice Hawks. I’m embarrassed and disappointed to know that my home town embraces thugs instead of real hockey players.

The UHL team in Glens Falls was the Adirondack Icehawks. The UHL and Icehawks are long gone, replaced by the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder.

This was a terrible documentary. The dang music is louder than the people talking. It's really annoying..
