I love his quote, "Guard your heart with your mind, not your mind with your heart." Will always remember that one.

I'm 65 Josh and my first encounter with your great ministry was " Evidence that Demands a Verdict". Thank you for living a life with the strength and character that has affected my life, in my walk with God so profoundly. God continue to bless you richly!

What I love most about this podcast is the look in your eyes and the way you smile while your father is talking. Pure love. Thank you both.

This video should be watch by millions. Josh McDowell is one of the most amazing men of God I have ever heard speak. His testimonies have brought me to my knees, and has evangelized my entire household. His faithfulness to the preaching of Jesus Christ is insurmountable. I am so grateful to have come across this interview as well as part 1. Thank you for sharing. It is changing people's lives. I know it has changed mine.

In 1974, Josh spoke at an Ohio State University Campus Crusade retreat, and I was there. I've never forgotten what a man of integrity he was/is. I probably still have the notes I took. His "Authority of the Believer" talk was very helpful for this shy girl who God made confident and joyful in Him. Thank you, Josh, for letting God use you. There are thousands of people like me.

Sean....🥰what a beautiful interviewer you are. Thank you for having such a desire to interview your Dad.... what a treasure you have given us and your family! Your Dad is an example of what Oswald Chambers says in My Utmost for His Highest on 7/24 “The great marvel of Jesus Christ’s salvation is that He alters heredity.” Praise God for changing a little abused boy to a man of God.

Sean McDowell: Quote from your dad. He said to me "I am the oldest youth worker in the world. " He certainly has the unique gift of relating to young people of any background. I have personally seen him in action in South Africa and in Ghana. He has touched lives all over the world by his faithful witness and testimony. Only when he appears before the judgement seat of our Lord will he know how many lives he positively impacted for time and eternity. I thank God that you are also using your wonderful talents and gifts in the ministry. He is indeed one of the Modern Day Heroes of our Faith and so are you. Keep on keeping on. Joshua Gilbert. I love how Mr. Josh McDowell stated how he learned so much from other people in his life. And that he shared his experiences so we can learn from them. He mentioned how he used to share the gospel in between classes at Cerritos JC. I would love to hear how he does this and learn more from his experiences doing this. I will check out his website but maybe this could be covered in Part 3. Thank you Sean for creating and posting this video. May God continue to bless you.

Probably 40-some years ago, Bruce Cook (David C. Cook Publishing, Elgin IL) interviewed Josh for a book about Christian leaders' relationships with their fathers. I was working for Cook's at the time and had the privilege of transcribing the tapes. For me, the most impactful chapter of that book was Josh's story about him and his father.

Do you know any Godly men, someone you can truly trust, who loves Jesus with all of his heart and you can see it in all of his actions? It sounds like your son needs a godly man in his life.

Does your dad do any workshops or training classes for campus ministry? I'm curious to hear about both of your perspectives on how a good campus parachurch can come alongside the church. I'm also curious about womens role in parachurches.

You and Ben Stuart would be an awesome interview. I saw your interview with Childers, Ben Stuarts series if you have not seen it is fantastic and the two of you together would be a slam dunk on the topic of sex, love, marriage, dating, waiting, singleness and purity. I watched his series last year and after hearing you speak on the topic would love to see a podcast with you together. He use to be at Texas A&M
