Thumbs up, subscribed. All very nice. I got the twist blade knife from you years ago. Still have it and have taken it remote camping with friends many times. I ran a thick military strap through the loop and then belt through it. The handle has a screw end cap that is empty. You will need to make sure it’s on tight or glue on threads so it does not come off. You can sharpen those blades using a kitchen block stick sharpener on each side of the blade. I have the big and medium size one made in Germany. Two of these you showed. Your work just as good as the ones made in Germany at a good price for most people. They are stab/thrust knives, insurance policy, knives for one purpose. Why I have them. After everyone I remote camp with along with our dogs saw mine they all got one. Yes they are heavy, so is my M9 Bayonet at one pound out of the sheath. If you need something like that knife you’ll be glad you have it, and not wish you had it! Very well mad

Very well made materials and craftsman ship. Very good quality materials. I carry two when in remote camping, and so do all others I’m with. Once you get one you will keep it. I never show it off because I’ll get why do you have that said mostly by non outdoors, non military people. I’m 63, retired, military, these are worth it. Insurance policy, last option knife.

Thanks for another Weapons Wednesday!!! I was most interested in the bamboo canes behind you. I'm not sure whether I've seen them on the websites. Maybe I've seen them and they are too short for me. I'm most comfortable with something in the 37" to 38" range. Anything below 36" just doesn't work well for me. I also liked the shillelagh on the wall next to the canes. I'm getting closer to testing out my fiber nylon war hammer, and I noticed those. Of course, none of that has anything to do with the weapons you meant to show this week. On the Twisted Blade Tactical Knife, is there any chance that the spiral shape is hammer forged? If very hot metal were driven into a spiral die, it might make that shape more easily than one could make the spiral by machining that much metal. The blade would then need to be removed in a twisting motion. I couldn't tell whether the geometry was such that this technique would be possible. I was never in the fabrication end of the metals business, so I don't know those techniques very well. If the basic spiral shape were hammer forged into the blade, everything else could be machined as Ian described. The Toothpick Pocket Knife was my favorite in some ways just because I could see carrying that one. The blade shape is a little odd for a regular pocket knife, but this knife looked nice and would ride in a pocket pretty well. The Dark Skull Neck Knife also seems somewhat practical. Using it for real self-defense might be awkward because finding a good grip would be difficult. On the other hand, this knife could be hidden in plenty of places and be useful as a "get off me" knife. This would also be a good size for opening boxes as Ian suggested. The Sickle Slasher Folding Knife might also be good for opening boxes. The Silver Kris Blade Balisong doesn't appeal to me, but maybe I would get one for my nephew someday. While I don't like having my fingers in holes, the Military Trench Knife seems to be the most practical fighting knife in this video. If I had to fight someone, I'd want this knife. The Damascus Spiral Blade Dagger is a beautiful piece of metal working. I'm not sure how well it would do for real combat, but this one is beautiful. Because of range and ease of deployment, I'd put this one in second place to the trench knife for fighting purposes. The Twisted Blade Tactical Knife is an interesting bit of engineering, but I'm not as enthralled with it as a knife. The range would be nice, and the wounds would be hard to close. The slow deployment would be risky.

Excellent breakdown of the weapons as always! I’m honestly not sure how the spiral blade knife is manufactured, but I think Ian may be right about it being milled because of the tooling marks. But, I’m not sure myself. Either way, the manufacturing of it is impressive. We definitely have those canes on the website, but the problem is that the cost for us to ship them is so high nowadays (typically about $35 for us to ship one within the US), that we may be discontinuing them at some point. Shipping has gotten so expensive! Thank you, my friend!

I have that cyclone knife. It's really nice. I learned that the pommel unscrew and has some survival kit inside, like one of them rambo survival knives(at least mine does.) Something to check out. The toothpick knife is really nice as well. I'm not a big folding knife fan anymore, but I do like that one. The Kriss style balisong looks really nice. The sickle folder is a no-no for me because if that liner lock fails for any reason, your finger will not be partially severed. The neck knife looks decent, but the grip is too short and awkward for me, in my opinion. The trench knife is nuts looking. I have always wanted one. The Damascus corkscrew spike is wicked nice as well. Thanks again for another awesome video 😎👍

Kyle, still definitely can be heated hot enough to twist in fact sometimes to make pattern welded AKA Damascus steel people will take rods and twist them together. But it wouldn't be as consistent a manufacturing method for knives and probably more time consuming than just milling it.
