Freddie was brilliant . What happened to him is why false accusers should face the same sentence the person they accuse. Freddie died a broken man but I don’t think he realised just how much the people believed he was innocent and still loved him until the end. God bless Freddie 💐

I was so upset with his "entertainment friends" His bestie's didn't even see to it that his body was brought home. All that money they have, didn't even club in together. It was a funeral director who stepped up and brought his body home. Funeral man paid for his funeral So generous caring and showed much consideration. So much for true friends. R.I.P. Freddie x

Such a sad way to end such a talented life, I remember seeing him on the doorstep of his house with his lawyer as the “gentlemen” of the press surrounded him. One of, if not THE BEST comedian to ever come from the UK! Freddie Starr entertained us all for years and years, a man not only great at telling jokes, not only great at singing, but an "all-round" entertainer! He was just amazing! The media and press ruined him unfortunately, but what they couldn't do was ruin the love for him from the people who really appreciated him and knew him for him! I will never forget Freddie Starr, he brought so many laughs to me and my family's life, and continues to do so through DVD's and KZbin videos! RIP Freddie xo

About 55 ish years ago, Freddie was performing during the summer season at Gt Yarmouth and he came each week to the Karate class I was in; he was great fun. Some 15 years later, I was in show biz and was fortunate to be his support act at a couple of his cabaret shows, which were always fun and full of practical jokes. One of our best entertainers.

Freddie was a one off. A naturally funny guy. ‘An audience with Freddie Starr’ is on KZbin if you ever need a pick me up and a good belly laugh. His singing performance on that program with Elvis‘s backing singers, ‘The Jordanaires’, is superb and still makes the hair on the back of my neck, stand-up even to this day. It’s sad how his life ended, he deserved so much more. RIP Freddie.

Hello Paul. Great video as usual. I worked with Fred for a few years we were great friends and I ended up as Fred’s tour manager and also booked his tours for a number of years. He really was the ultimate entertainer I never knew what he would do. We had a rough script but many times he would get on stage and rip that up and just let his talent take over. He’s the only entertainer when he took his first step off stage the audience would all gasp in fear. I could write a book myself of my time with Fred so much fun so many laughs but tears as well. Just sad how it all ended I still miss him everyday.

@@UnusualThings1 Haha it would be a thick book. So many stories including amazing times and tragic times with Diana Dors and Alan Lake. I tale I will share with you. Freddie at one time lived in Windsor. He had a gardener who was found to be stealing thousands of pounds of jewellery from Freddie. The gardener was arrested and when it went to trial, the prosecution was told that the gardener was given the jewellery by Fred in exchange for sexual favours. So the prosecution asked the gardener if Fred was circumcised or uncircumcised. He picked the wrong one. The gardener’s name was Robin Cockshead. Ironic but true lol. .

I met Freddy for a press conference when he joined ITV in the 90s , I took him to a conference room when I asked him if he wanted anything, his reply a cup of tea. I came back with said drink and biscuits and found he had lit up a cigarette in a non smoking building where only 2 floors down they were broadcasting the ITV news.. I tried to reprimand him and said he would be asked to leave. His reply was, next door there are 80 press and TV crew, do you really think they are going to ask me to leave. We met up afterwards and said our good buys at the lift and he fake cried all the way down , telling me what a special day I had made for him. A true entertainer with funny bones who impressed in those days, a behind the scenes young impressionable boy. Remember you forever RIP

Freddie Starr, the funniest man in the planet. I saw him twice, he was even funnier live. It was sad what Haslemere to him later in life when he was dragged into that witch hunt where everyone was getting accused of seriously vile stuff, he was eventually proven to have had nothing to do with it but it has an obvious effect on his health. When he passed away we lost a real treasure, young people today have missed out on seeing him live but his shows can still be seen in KZbin, if you've never seen Freddie in action watch one of his shows, you'll be in stitches.
