Impressive! Adding a zoom would probably lower the aperture and force the phone to increase the ISO and degrade the image

Interesting take, I would imagine it can be done since phones have a more conputting power. Your point still makes sense, with smaller sensors on phones and low light will degrade the image. Thanks for tuning in.

Since there are phones capable of 100x zoom, which you can adjust this from 30x optical to 100x digital zoom this thing might be more on the downside. It's like carrying a lighter to light match sticks

It's 10x zoom with digital crop or zoom to bumb it up to 100x. I did a comparison of it the video. It's the part where you have 3 photos stacked next to each other. 1x (with crop) vs 10x (with crop) vs 60x (without crop). 5:40

The disassembly process is very involved, you risk damaging it while doing so.

Does it produce sort of vignette on the main 1.0x lens? Do you need to zoom in a little bit for a clearer image? Im looking to get one myself.

If you line it up with lens, you won't have any "vignetting".

I have Mi 10i mobile phone and apexel 60X zoom lens but the images or video obtained from this lens are not clear or sharp images are shaded hence disappointed with this lens.

This lense magnification is not 60x it's between 16x or max 20x ,do comparison with a good ED glass spotting scope you will come to know the difference

I did a "not" very scientific test, took a photo with Samsung S22 Ultra at 60X digital of an object, then used the same phone to with main lens and Apexel lens and it was close enough to 60x.

Lack of contrast control could have been improved in post, but I didn't want to edit it to give a real representation as most people will keep their footage on their phones.
