Hi! In this video, I want to show how life is in Batumi, Georgia. I've been shooting for it for the whole year that we've been living here. I tried to tell about the city not from a tourist point of view, but more from the position of a person who has lived here for more than a year. In 10 minutes, of course, you can't show everything, but I tried. I hope you like it.
If you like the video, please like and subscribe. See you soon!

Thank you for this informational video Stepan! I really would love to find work in Georgia and appreciate and learn about the culture and history. I also would love to live in such a hospitable environment. Particularly where I live in the US, it feels like people can be quite entitled, greedy and ignorant unfortunately. Not everyone here is like that but I would truly love to live a life of happiness and i believe your video showed me that it is possible in this world to find it in Georgia. I would be honored to be able to reciprocate my hospitality and hard work to live there! Keep up the great videos and I hope you find much success and support on your Journey Stepan!

Hello! I’m glad my video was be interesting and informative to you! Yes people what I met here was very hospitality and friendly. But the average salary is too low, for a comfort living. We’re you from? what do you do for a living? :)

@@StepansOdyssey Definitely! Currently I’m a Land Surveyor in the states of Maryland and Delaware in the USA. The pay is ok but I love being able to explore and help develop new places which is a big part of the job. I was possibly thinking of becoming a contract cargo ship merchant and spending the months I have off living in Georgia until I can afford to own real estate there for residency or possibly even come up with an idea for passive income with an online business in the off season months while I stay. I see it a positive opportunity nevertheless!

Land Surveyor It's interesting profession! About cargo ship merchant can't say anything, but a car deliveries from US is huge here, right now. Maybe you right, if it can make a good money, why not? I hope it works out for you! Good luck with it!

It seems like a beautiful country. I see many of Russian coming to Serbia and it is very small country, now we are overcrowded and prices are pretty high.
@StepansOdyssey
@StepansOdyssey 10 ай бұрын
Hello Zoran. I understand and I think you are right, this is exactly the case when prices go up because of the influx of people. I lived in Georgia for over a year and it was the same there. I have many friends from Russia and Ukraine now living in different countries Estonia, Cyprus, Portugal, Poland, Canada - everywhere the same. But as I noticed this emigration has waves, and at first there is an influx of people where it is closer and easier to enter, and then people immigrate to other countries. So I think that in the next few months the situation will change. I'm truly sorry to have this happen.

Hi Stepan what is the easiest residency visa for sole traders or digital nomads in Serbia?
@StepansOdyssey
@StepansOdyssey 3 ай бұрын
Hi Amira! In Serbia you can get Temporary Residency after opening business here, like individual entrepreneur. I don’t know is it possible before you come in Serbia. Maybe not, please check it. But if you’re in Serbia, you can use this guide www.srb.guide - it’s in Russian language, but you can use google translate. This guide creates by Russian speaker community in Serbia. I got my visa follow steps from this guide. Good luck 🙂

Just curious: Was it hard for you to learn the language in Georgia? I know several languages (включающий русский). But not Georgian. And I would imagine it to be a tough language to learn. Since for one thing, it has a totally different alphabet. Anyway, it looks like you had a mighty fine time there. I'd like to visit there too someday 😊😊😊😊

Hi Cyclonus! I didn't even try to learn Georgian, its absolutely different language. Maybe it's not as difficult, like Chinese language. I learned a few basic words and phrases to communicate in cafes and shops. For tourism in nature Georgia is grate country, i recommended. And people in Georgia talk in English or Russian sometimes, so its no problem to communicate.

As a European American my nordic grandfather's sacrificed their culture and language for financial success. The culture here is predominantly jewish political theory, POC and capitalism. Think about immigrating here, many times.

Come to Canada is a very bad idea. I immigrate and live there since 25 years. What you see in film and video are not the reality. Not at all. And I'm finally quit this country soon. I can'y write too much because KZbin and ''others'' are spying us. How can we contact you ? We need help about Batumi. PS: Serbia is a good idea. I know this country. All will be familiar for you. Serbian like Rissain people. Always.

@@StepansOdyssey Stepan we are trying to save your soul. The Balkans would be a nice place to make home and work there. Panama City, Panama is another option if you work for none-local companies as they don't tax foreign income. They also have many tax incentives, similar to Dubai but less and cost to live there is also much less.
Opening a new chapter. Moved to Belgrade Serbia!
