He carried me to my house & sat me on the porch. I was 10 when this happened & remember it like it happened yesterday. There was no one who lived anywhere near me of that description! @keith mullens Angels come from Jewish Scripture. Jews are allowed to pray in a Mosque but are forbidden/sin for a Jew to step into any Christian Church, as they are looked on the same as a Hindu Temple.
@paulawallace87843 жыл бұрын
@keith mullens I merely shared Judaic Halachic Law. Yes, both Jews and Muslims worship the Eternal Gd of Abraham. The Jews respectfully call Him HaShem/The Name and the Muslims call Him Allah/The Gd.
@paulawallace87843 жыл бұрын
@keith mullens"Question: May a Jew enter a mosque or church when there is a need to do so or to visit there as a tourist attraction? Answer: The great Rambam in his commentary on the Mishnah Masechet Avodah Zarah (Chapter One) deduces from the words of the Mishnah there regarding an actual house of idol worship “that we are almost forbidden to look at it, let alone enter it.” The words of the Rambam are quoted as Halacha by the Shach (Yoreh De’ah, Chapter 149) as well as the other Acharonim (ibid). The Tosafot in Masechet Avodah Zarah (17b) deduce from the Gemara (ibid.) that one must distance himself even from the entrance of a house of idol worship as much as possible. Similarly, Maran Ha’Shulchan Aruch in Yoreh De’ah (Chapter 150, Section 1) rules that there is a Mitzvah to distance one’s self four Amot (approximately 6.5 feet) from a path of idol worship. Thus, if one is walking close to a house of idol worship, such as a church, one should distance himself at least four Amot from the entrance to this place, for it is well-known that Christian churches are considered houses of idol worship as they believe in another deity besides for Hashem. If so, it is certainly forbidden to actually enter their churches, for they are actual houses of idol worship. The Evil Spirit Found in Houses of Idol Worship Besides for the halachic prohibition to enter a church, Hagaon Harav Chaim Palagi writes in his Responsa Chaim Be’Yad (Chapter 26) that when one enters a church, a spirit of heresy immediately cleaves to him; even if it does not cause one to sin, nevertheless, one impurifies himself just by entering such a place. This is especially true when the one who enters this place is a member of the holy Jewish nation to whom the forces of impurity cling strongly. One who enters a house of idol worship requires repentance and atonement for one’s sin. Based on this, it is clear that it is forbidden to enter a Christian church, for a church is a house of idol worship, as we have explained. Entering a Muslim Mosque Regarding entering a mosque, the Rambam explains in one of his responses that Ishmaelites are not considered idol-worshippers since they believe in Hashem and there is no denial of Hashem in their religion or anything else that should cause them to be considered idol-worshippers. We are therefore lenient and sell our lands in Israel to Muslims during the Shemitta (Sabbatical) year based on the “Heter Mechira” process although it is forbidden to sell land in Eretz Yisrael to an idol-worshipper; this is because Muslims are not considered idol-worshippers. Based on this, mosques are not considered actual houses of idol worship and one may enter them according to the letter of the law. Summary: It is absolutely forbidden to enter a house of idol worship. Included in this prohibition is entering a Christian church or other kinds of houses of idol worship in the Far East. Nevertheless, there is no halachic prohibition to enter an Muslim mosque; this is especially true when this is being done in order to pray there, such as at the graves of our forefathers in the Machpela Cave in Hebron." We know what angels are , and we know how they've been portrayed through history , with or without wings. I'm talking about imagery that holds popular belief in films , books , artwork etc. I have written extensively about these creatures that not only exist in all 3 Abrahamic faiths , including Islamic writings , but the putti found in Italian art that are confused with cheribum. Angels see to it that gods work is carried out , and sometimes it's not pretty . They have allowed entire towns to get wiped out and the one thing you can count on is that from now untill the end of time , you will never understand why. And since you want to quote the Bible Jacob wrestled with an angel , and this biblical angel had wings. We know this because he stabbed Jacob in the hip with his wing .

From the beginning of time there have been angels. Genisis talks of "the sons of God". Babylonia didn't invent angels, they chose to worship them. @@christiroseify Well we have Babylonian myths written in cuneiform on tablets and a version of the Enuma Elish dates to the 7th century BCE but there are illustrations of scenes from those myths from the 16th century BCE. The Dead Sea Scrolls (which are significantly different from the modern King James version you get all your info from) only date to the 3rd century BCE. They’re the oldest found version of The Bible and they’re in ancient Hebrew which is a younger language than cuneiform. You’ve got to understand that there are lots of different translations of The Bible and different parts come from different authors. The King James Bible is not the original. It also doesn’t contain all possible historical information which is why the field of history exists and historians don’t just study The Bible all the time.

So again, "There is One God and one Mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus." 1Tim 2:5. You believe you have learned enough in all your research to reject the One True God and Jesus as Lord, then I shall leave you to your own. But remember, the Bible says, "every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord". Romans 14:11 But for many, it will be too little, too late. I suggest you stop "researching knowledge" and pick up the Bible and seek Jesus while you still can.

I like this documentary. It exposes the mythology of the apostate church for the junk theology that it is. It talks about the "death of Mary" but since that picture was painted, Mary didn't die. The ever changing "truth" of the Catholic Church moved the goalposts again. Now Mary was assumed into heaven - body and soul. She one-upped her Son who had to spend three days in the grave. When the truth changes like this, you can tell you're dealing with liars and scoundrels. And speaking of the Global Warming myth...

If you want to know about angels, read the Bible, the word of God. And then, don't add to it your own opinions and don't take away from it the things you don't agree with or like. Take the word seriously and fully as the infallible word of God. It's the truth. The only truth, by which, everything else is to be measured. I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. - Revelation 22:18-19 Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar. - Proverbs 30 You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you. - Deuteronomy 4 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:6 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. - Hebrews 4:12

It's interesting to see how (because of a lack of knowledge of God's word) the church separated the Savior from His people. I think that is the goal of the mainstream. The scriptures say that "there is ONE MEDIATOR between God and man, the man, Christ Jesus", but the "church" has setup a pantheon of mediators between God and man because, the teaching goes, Jesus is too holy for ordinary people to approach. Jesus contended with such scoundrels during His ministry saying, "For ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men, for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in." The mainstream's job is to separate people from God. These are ministers of the serpent.

They symbolized a heavenly beings that were EXACTLY like humans and thus, the hall was the pictorial representation

The second fragment relevant to this study is fragment 24 (again, under Holmes' nomenclature). Holmes translates as follows: And Papias spoke in the following manner in his treatises: ‘Heaven did not endure his earthly intentions, because it is impossible for light to communicate with darkness. He fell to earth, here to live; and when humankind came here, where he was, he led them astray into many evils. But Michael and his legions, who are guardians of the world, were helping humankind, as Daniel learned; they gave laws and made the prophets wise. And all this was war against the dragon, who was setting stumbling blocks for men. Then their battle extended into heaven, to Christ himself. Yet Christ came; and the law, which was impossible for anyone else, he fulfilled in his body, according to the apostle. He defeated sin and condemned Satan, and through his death he spread abroad his righteousness over all. As this occurred, the victory of Michael and his legions, the guardians of humankind, became complete, and the dragon could resist no more, because the death of Christ exposed him to ridicule and threw him to the earth. Concerning which Christ said, ‘I saw Satan fallen from heaven like a lightning bolt.’ In this sense the teacher understood not his first fall, but the second, which was through the cross, and this did not consist of a spatial fall, as at first, but rather of judgment and expectation of a mighty punishment…

What amazes me is how the Bible says not to make images and bow down to them and yet so many of these churches do just that. It also says make no images of things in heaven is so many of these churches have what they believe are angels when there are so many different types of angels and what they look like sad sad.

The documentary starts off by saying that angels, "guide and advise us. They judge us." But my bible says that the Holy Spirit guides and advises God's people and that we (God's people) will judge the angels. I'm not too sure the video is a scripturally accurate piece. John 16:13 - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 1 Cor. 6:3 - Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Fragment 11 reads as follows in Holmes' translation: But Papias says, word for word: ‘Some of them’ - obviously meaning those angels that once were holy - ‘he assigned to rule over the orderly arrangement of the earth, and commissioned them to rule well.’ And next he says: ‘But as it turned out, their administration came to nothing. And the great dragon, the ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, was cast out; the deceiver of the whole world was cast down to the earth along with his angels.’
