It's amazing what you can do with/buy with those savings...I could easily smoke a pack in a day...Freaking insane!
@byteme00004 күн бұрын
@@StackersU It's crazy what a pack of smokes costs nowadays. I love to smoke, but I'm glad that I quit 25 years ago.

My goal is to buy twenty 10 oz bars this year. I have about 6 online dealers that I go through to find the best deal every payday.. then I use direct deposit that takes a specific amount out every paycheck. It goes to an account that is only used for metal. By using a specific amount every paycheck that goes into an account specifically for metal, anything left over gets rolled into my next purchase instead of getting wasted somewhere else.

Yep, thanks for the reminder! It's that time of year for another audit. I cringe at discovering how much $$ I wasted on forgotten subscriptions this past year.

My goal is to buy some gold in 2025 one ounce every other month and a total of 160 oz silver for the year. FWIW, I have a few shares of Newmont Corp, less than 20 shares. I usually buy about $25 worth of fractional shares twice a month. It's hands down the worse performing item in my humble portfolio but I'm in this for the long run. Save till it hurts, buy as much assets as possible. Love your channel! A++

Silver is a long term hold slow buy value storing plan for me. By that i mean if you buy make sure you don't need that cash. Long hold Means watch inflation eat away your dollar over the long term while your silver grows in value. Do not just dump all your cash in silver all at once the slower you buy the better the results. This means you can control your cost getting it cheaper if the market turns.

S.U, you nailed it! This is a complete video, follow this advice and you will be ahead of the game. Once you start "saving" and buying silver, you will get addicted to it. Just as S.U. stated, do not go overboard and leave yourself with no margin of error between paydays...unless you are willing to go hungry for a few days! Only thing I will add is to PAY YOURSELF FIRST! 10% OF EACH NET PAY GOES TO YOU! Some to silver, most to emergency fund. Pay off bills asap. More to silver as you payoff debt.

Excellent comment!! Get out of debt and save/invest the difference.

A+ Professor! Sorry, but I don't have anything to add to your already good looking list, sir. But, if I may... Another thing one might consider in 2025 is moving some of your retirement funds into a precious metals IRA. I've done this, made mistakes, and learned a little. For instance, I used Augusta Precious Metals for my initial foray into a PM IRA and found them to have excellent customer service. However, by the time I was ready to convert more retirement funds into PMs, SD Bullion had began providing those services, and I got much better pricing from them. And, I really like those SD guys. (no, I'm not associated with either in any way) Just my $0.02, Professor, and would love to hear yours on this topic... Peace!

I definitely love that option as well!!!! Self-directed IRAs hold your metals is a beautiful thing!

One thing I've noticed though Doc, is that more and more I am seeing cashless establishments. I took my daughter to the movies the other day and everything there was cashless. I've seen that more often as time goes by.

I freaking hate it! It's that slow nudge to CBDCs, plus it helps with theft and incompetence of employees being able to count and return change correctly.

A++ my car insurance went up 25%. Time to audit for sure. My advice, probably off topic on this video, but side hustle. I say that because there's a limit to what you can save. Yet, no limit for how much you can make. Professor likes making enemies on KZbin and gets a few extra bucks from advertisements doing so. For me, I make small decorative things. I enjoy it. It's fun and will do it for free, but hey If I can get $20 from it, why not? Do something you love, it will bring you peace of heart, peace of mind and give you a few extra bucks. Side hustle without the hustle. Just my two cents but hope it helps. Take care my brother and God bless you and your family.
@StackersU12 күн бұрын
Ouch...25%...Try to find an insurance broker that can shop multiple providers. AMEN about side hustles...You're 100% right you you can only save so much and after that, it's about increasing your income...Every little bit you make helps!

Silver ain't going nowhere significant. Never really has. Good savings vehicle against inflation though. Gold is a better bet. Look at the 100 year charts for gold. Nothing but up overall.
