Unwrap UVW Modifier - Getting started in 3DS Max 2021 (part 11)

Hello Arnold. How do you approach the smoothing now after UVW Unwrapp? Do you do after the mapping or before? Lets say Chamfer modifier.

Smoothing in max is done with the smooting groups, that does not mess up the texture. If you you round the edges by champfering the edges it creates new geometry and that will mess up the texture coordinates again.

Ich verstehe nicht wie du die "Verpackung" 1:1 ausdrucken willst? Bilder davon? Das Ding im 3D Drucker drucken?

@@AFTutorials Ich habe Geräte und möchte für die eine Folierungsvorlage erstellen. Diese Folierungen sollen später außer an die Geräte dran, müssen aber vorher in 2d ausgedruckt werden ^^

I recommend using Pixlr.com That is almost like Photoshop, but browserbased.
