Crazy how long the wait is over there but good on you for sticking to it. Here in the states we have to wait 7-10 months for some items such as suppressors and that is bad enough.

Over here no one cares about suppressors, I literally walked into to gun shop over the weekend and walked out with a suppressor, I guess the process is so rigorous here that by the time you want one you've already jumped hurdles, hoops, backflips, teeth pulled, lost a kidney, coughed a liver.....🤣

We dont have a right to guns. But on average when you buy from a gunshop and file for the license it takes betweekn 8-18months. Piet imported one and there was issues via customs and the importer which is a difrent story. We can have semi automatics. We can have silencers. We can have ar15s with no batrel length restrictions.

@@ryanking4942 I applied earlier this year, took 6 weeks done and dusted, 4 applications. Sometimes the paperwork gets messed up, lost, then it's a mission. Self defense firearms are allowed, but over hear you HAVE to conceal carry, firearms are not allowed to be visible.

@@ryanking4942 we have a license specificaly for self defence. Basically self defenc is called s13 license it lasts 5 years then you need to renew again. Same process and time for waiting. Anything else you basically license under a s16 which is called sport shooting license. You can have as many as you want as ling as you ca motivate it in the paperwork what you nees it for regarding the sport shooting. S16 is a 10 year license then you need to renew again every weapon. Each firearm gets its own license and expiry date. I will say im happy we can own them. Even tho the process kinda suck to get them.

Piet I just picked up a Howa 1500 la in 6.5 prc. It has a number 6 profile barrel but is 24 inches. I was hoping to get a 26 inch barrel with it but couldn’t find it. So I will see how the assembly goes and what I can expect out of the set up and my abilities.

Man, you work so hard at being compliant. I love the content; you are a bad ass. I'd just say when the people fear the government that is tyranny. When the government fears the people that is freedom. I'd love to see you intact some civil disobedience, but I understand having too much to lose to do so. If it were me, I'd build my own rifles and give the middle finger to the perspective parties. Live Free Or Die. Thats the American way.

He needs to apply for licenses, I did a couple earlier this year, took 6 weeks, that's about the time it should take in SA. Personally I don't mind the process, it's rigorous but it ensures we don't have a bunch of retarded crazies running around with guns. From what I can deduce is that the original importer made a royal mess of things. My previous import took a couple of months, but that was mostly from Blaser doing the build, the import and customs was smooth and efficient.
