Hey. So do I. I used to just think that it was me being weird. Now, I'm turning it into a superpower. It's a challenge. I recently got out of a trauma-based relationship with a malignant narcissist. The key is understanding yourself and other people. There's actually nothing wrong with you. 😉

I love that Mojo brought up how her mental health experience is different as a black woman due to stereotyping.

How do you guys get over people treating you differently once they find out you have BPD? I just got diagnosed and it seems as if a switch turned on. My superiors and medical professionals are treating me like a villain now. I’m in the United States military so some things aren’t considered discrimination but it really feels like it. I’m no longer being taken seriously and my presence simply annoys them 🤦🏾♀️

You can have BPD and be military? I ask because I know and love someone dear to me who I strongly believe has it and is afraid to see someone while active duty.
@LivinglifeasShey2 жыл бұрын
They will treat you different because of their ignorance that your diagnosis is not condition but instead of an identity. Unfortunately people will mistaken BPD for someone’s Identity when simply it’s our bodies response to self preservation from being hurt again. Due to this response we feel emotions more intensely we tend to do more in action related to that. Be kind with yourself as well as them. They don’t understand and it is no ones fault. Try to better educate people on it and show them that we are humans too! ❤

As a person diagnosed BPD i would be concerned too. It does not meam you are the villain but it is a mentall illness that is very destructive if not under control.

Dr. Allen Frances on the Risks of DSM-5 - The Lens Report kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y3Kwp6WZd9uMjc0 DSM-5 is out dated and is quite frankly fraud people are being diagnosis with disorders they dont even have due to medical negligence carried our by narcissistic doctors or are being mistaken for other things such as nutriental deficiencies nutriental deficiencies have alot to answer for and in many ways the medical system doesnt wish to venture down the rabbit hole of nutrient deficiencies becuase they know to well they would find issues that can be resoved which isnt what there about its about treating the symptoms not the cause the system corrupted to the core there has allways got to be a financial lucrative tie between the doctor and the patient dont trust thoses in the medical field alot of deceptive actors pushing hiden narratives alot of back handers are going on they couldnt give a dam about your health its about wealth and geting there own objectives met

May we continue to dare ourselves for the good. May we continue to talk and bring awareness to such illnesses, bcoz they are often left in the background, and receive the least attention, due to the lack of education about them. Thanks for sharing this video.

my ex was borderline. i was patient. no matter how understanding, or loving you are they will torture you and push you away. un-treated, a borderline is incapable of empathy and real love. they do these things in order to soothe themselves.

Sorry ut even the most understanding person won't be able to handle this shit for a long time. Maybe there are some people out there but they must be a few.... After 20+ years living with a non BPD person I got tired of her constant nagging and snapping tantrums over small things so I can only imagine what would be with BPD...no thanks.

Right people and compassion wont solve BPD relationship issues, as its abuse what they do. And they dont have capability to love. Its not smart to try to make it seem like someone just needs to understand them, while they abuse people in relationships. BPD relationships are only trauma playbacks, they only exists to relive the trauma. And the just project their parents onto these people. The push & pull wont ever stop. Until the relationships does what it supposed to do, ends. As thats the trauma cycle.

I have BPD and totally agree to this
@kms75275 жыл бұрын
Completely disagree And I feel your reply is dangerous and will only encourage more stigmatism of bpd I am a quiet borderline I love I'm not abusive Not everyone with bpd is as psycho bunny boiler
@nobodynowhere52135 жыл бұрын
@@kms7527 Borderline relationships are abusive in their nature. As its not a real relationship. In essence, its using another person to relive a childhood trauma. I think you just dont understand what abuse is, its not always intentional nor direct. The abuse is the part where you cant see the other person, when you just project your parents onto someone. And one clear problem is the inability to take any responsibility, the constant projection. Everything is the other persons fault. And the black & white thinking. Idealization is also a form of abuse, so is devaluing someone. Its simply not seeing the other. There is also a great deal of control that borderlines need in these relationships, as they cant control their emotions so they instead try to control their environment. And especially people who they react emotionally. There really is no need for a "stigma", but honest understanding. The reaction i see often from borderlines is exactly like yours. "nothing wrong in me". If this is so, then what is exactly borderline personality disorder?
@kms75275 жыл бұрын
@@nobodynowhere5213 no again you are wrong Bpd is a mood disorder It can be controlled With cbt dbt You can go into remission Some borderlines direct their shit outwards and to other people And some direct everything internally and blame themselves not others I have a lot of friends and have been in a great relationship for 8 years I worked my ass of in therapy to get where I am And I am damn proud.of where I am Saying all bpd ppl are abusive is like saying all Muslims are terrorists As someone who has personally and professionally been involved in mental health for 20 years You are so wrong it's frightening Shame on you
@nerdybirdgames54075 жыл бұрын
nobody nowhere I think you’re just adding to the already bad stigma and that’s so wrong. Bpd is caused by trauma, sometimes they will even hallucinate and hear things, it’s not a choice is it and the way you’re talking about it feels really harsh.
