I have been envious of your pond from the first time I saw it in a video Steve (Catandeye) posted on KZbin. The pond and fish are amazing and your green thumbs obvious when it comes to the plants. Unfortunately with my lack of plant skills, if I was lucky enough to have a pond and enclosure like yours, even the plastic/faux plants wouldn't survive. Looking forward to more videos. Cheers.

dont think ive seen mind your own business looking that wild on a bakki shower it looks awesome and ties in with the rest of the conservatory you clearly have a keen eye when it comes to arrangement and there is nothing wrong with a few artificial baskets here and there,the pond is looking fantastic 👍👍and the up flow filter is spot on, have i missed anything?

Thanks very much. I stack the troughs by putting 1" diameter pipe in the corners, just long enough so the trough above sits at the correct height. A bit of plastic cement holds the pipes in place. Cheers 👍

Hi ya, Looks lovely. Just a quick question how do you plant the baby tears on the bakki shower, do you plant with the soil attached to the roots or wash the roots before planting?? Thanks

Thank you. I wash off some but not all the soil. Most of it comes away easily but some sticks to the roots. I don't want to damage the roots so don't wash too vigorously. Cheers

Thank you very much. Soleirolia is the botanical name of the plant but in the UK it is commonly known as "Mind your own business" or "Baby's Tears" Cheers 👍

Hi mate. I bought everything for the upflow filter off eBay. Acrylic tube 200mm ext x 194mm int x 1000mm long. trent-plastics. I fitted the airline bulkhead myself. Wrighty on KZbin and many others have detailed how this is done. i ABSOLUTELY LOVE the plant that is growing in the bakki shower ! But you limiting the air intake to the shower. This is what makes a bakki shower work so well as the amount of oxygen that is allowed to surround the media

Well done guys looking amazing keep up the great work . You must not let acer,s dry out they love water and in doors will need to be watered daily and on real hot days twice a day . If you have time check out Peter chan at herons bonsai on KZbin you will learn a lot .
