Years ago. I as a jump pilot. Someone wanted to have ashes series spread by jumpers in free fall. When they opened the bag it all blew in their faces and they were spitting out poor Bob 😱😱

Reconfigure the DC-3's to be re-engined to turboprops. It's done frequently these days, probably out necessity. No need for AvGas, turboprops use highly refined kerosene, which is JP aviation jet fuel.

We all eventually become ashes,im glad that airforce mecanic got to fly in a DC3 one more time with his son.

When aviation gas gets less and less you can always repower the aircraft with turboprops. That will extend the life of the aircraft and make fuel available everywhere. With over 4600 horsepower with turboprops she ought to fly like a new bird.

About spreading the ashes, this has been the most bizarre and coarse thing I've ever seen not only in aviation but in any other situation. They are dealing with human remains for the sake, not with sand or any other material!!!! This is so sick!

@@JibberLang that's sad, yeah I just looked that up she died in 2017. I'm sure her smoking had something to do with her premature demise. As I said she seemed like a real sweetheart. Thanks for the info

Not losing into view that this is nothing but a soap opera, t.v. reality show or whatever is the name is of it, during the course of my career as a pilot, I saw many owners they believed that for the simple fact of being the owner of the airplane, that was enough to fly it. Now, what I can see is a pilot, trying to run a company. Absolutely funny. The worst enemy of his own company/business is "evil Joe" . If at least this would be for real, it could be a great case study for business administration.

It's such a snakey move taking all the av gas after being told it's needed for the firefighters aircraft. I don't know it's just wrong.

Somewhat gald this airline shut down. Joe shows typical narcissist behavior and the entire management is awful. You reprimand a guy who worked his ass off on ground instead of flying for months, for 1 slip up ? really ?. Also what airways hire pilots to do ground work for months. If i had being in place of Jeremy would given bird and move out. Also as news state the airways was shut due severe lack of safety issues and paperwork issues, it quite evident from 1st season, with 60 year old scrap metal being flown, breaking down every now and then. seesh what a genius idea it was.

Could we implore the legion of people who put these excellent videos to get better equipment to record female voices. They nearly always come across as unintelligible and cannot be understood. The women who are part of the company are equally entitled to be heard.....clearly. Thank you.

If I was Joe I would really put some thought and research into looking at what it would cost to hire a crew and tooling needed to start converting the dc-3’s to turbine engines. I know to buy a newly refurbished turbine dc-3 is something like 8 million bucks but if buying all needed parts and tooling, hiring a small crew that could convert the planes over for a fraction of the price it really might be worth it and after they do the first one they will get faster and more efficient on each one. I know it still is a massive cost but it could be worth it, hiring guys to work for you would be massively cheaper for the labor side of things and again after they do the first dc-3 conversion they will get faster and more efficient each time. It’s something that would be worth investing some money into seeing if it makes sense. It’s only going to get more expensive every year to buy either buy a turbine dc3 or build one. Would make much more sense to be prepared before one day they just cut of av gas or they put a massive limit on how much fuel any one company can buy. People think that their government can’t just all the sudden cut them off but they can, they will and they don’t care because all the government will say when you tell them ur an essential service is that another airline that can meet the requirements can take over whatever ur company is doing if you can’t abide by the new rules. Ido how Canada is but I’m sure it’s not too much different then here in America and stuff happens all the time that you would never think could happen. In America the government is pushing for all regular cars and trucks to be 100% electric by 2035 even though that 13 years in the future if that does happen it’s gonna effect so many businesses. I own a auto repair shop and if that happens it’s gonna greatly effect auto repair shops many will go out of business because they won’t keep up with technology, transmission repair shops will eventually close, shops that specialize in engine repair will close, machine shops that build engines will close, many part stores will close, many factories that make parts will close, everything to do with gasoline will be effected, gas stations will have to convert to charging stations. Even in just the 13 years it could be too fast of a change, many people will probably try to keep their regular gas powered vehicles as long as possible but that will only work if the government lets people buy gas. It really could get bad the automotive industry is a massive industry it effects so many other industries.

Yeah, but aren't there loads of smaller, light airplanes that use gasoline? In fact aren't many light aircraft still build with regular gas burning piston engines ? If so then it would seem to me that aviation gasoline will probably be available for a long time to come.
