Nicely edited and well presented videos. Cool logo and love the background music. Infact I rewatched a few to listen to it again. Plus it's fishing related. Well done.

Quick question l used this rig to great effect using a size 2 Aberdeen hook, most of the hooks came out easy, the ones that were deep in I cut the hook using angle cutters, is there a better method to removing such hooks? Really enjoy your videos and have found them to be of great help buddy, tight lines

TheAudiostud firstly thank you for the kind comments! Its great to know people enjoy the videos and find them useful! If you get a chance check out the Flounder fishing on the river Adur vid, in this I briefly show how to get deeply swallowed hooks out with relative ease via the gills. once you have the hang of it, it's a very quick and easy way of getting your hooks back without distressing the fish too much

TheAudiostud Hi. It's a Gemini Rig Jig, you can find them here... www.veals.co.uk/acatalog/gemini-rig-jig-610.html

Good rigging video mate. What is that metal hook holder you have on the wooden plank??
@TheFishingAddicts8 жыл бұрын
thank you. I hope you fins it useful. the clips you are talking about is called a Gemini Rig Jig. it just makes things easier because both hands are left free and you can get tension in the rig whilst tying. you can fix them in place on a work surface or if space is an issue, on a plank of wood so you can put it away after use. I think they still sell them on the Gemini website or have a look at one of the big mail order companies.

Bullshit rig, the line over top link flys off during the cast.

Pual Simpson if the line is coming off during the cast you can't have enough tension in the rig, try making the hooklength tighter. I have never had a problem with the hooklength coming unclipped mid flight and have been using the rig for years. The only other thing I can think is maybe you are casting off the ground and not keeping everything right?
