Spectacular filming, the snake is a night banded tiger snake, rear fanged, harmless if left alone . Just luv the crocodiles, teaching them to jump into dinghys 😂

Great job Molly! Two in one vid, snake and croc. Check ‘em off the list. 😊 Reminds me of the alligator tours in the south Florida Everglades. Exact same set up. You are right, you don’t realize how big they really are until you are right next to them in person! Not sure of the snake you saw. I would have to Google that one or wait for a comment. Still waiting for you to make a nice “Molly’s Critters Found” list in your spare time that you can hold up and mark during a vid like your bar hopping list! 😜. Loved the waterfalls too by the way. Great Video Molly! Croc's and snakes are 2 things we don't have in NZ, and they would deter me from ever going to the NT, waterfalls are great but the are not enought to get me to NT, thanks for sharing

Thanks for sharing a other fantastic video Molly really enjoyed it. Those waterfalls were amazing and including that water hole look a nice spot for a swim. That last waterfall would of been awesome for a swim but at least you decided not because we can’t have you flaking out on us . Thanks for the advice on the crocodiles I learned a bit from Steve Irwin back in 2005 at his park very talented man sadly he passed away. So looking forward to seeing you next Sunday night for your next adventure

Yes thos turmite mound s when i was on my way to perth from outta adilaide i remember ceeing so manny. Of them molly their was hundreds of them in one. Place the snake. No it wasn't, was a brown tree snake also called banded tree snake or night tiger,rear fanged mildly venomous, will make you a bit crook if it bites you,if you think that was a black headed python, you should stay well away from snakes before you die😂😂😂

Am surprised you got that close to the snake. Be careful in this area. There are crocs in those rivers. Another YTb'er showed a croc trap in one of the water holes. You live in such a beautiful country. Thanks again for taking us along. Cheers TJ

That was a Banded Tree snake commonly known as a Night Tiger snake. If bitten, it will make you sick, but not life threatening for an adult. We also get them around Derby and Kununurra WA

I've handled many banded tree snakes, and there heads are much narrower than a black head, plus the bands on a black head never touch each other - that one had 2 lots that touch.
