I really wasn’t sure about the other fabric that you used but, it actually turned out really well and it all went beautifully together too. And the lace added such a lot to it too. It is spring in a blouse! and your most perfect colour match to date. I hope you will love wearing it as much as the original blouse, which is so utterly exquisite. Oh, and the template, I would suggest a peplum, if you are already wary of moving while wearing it, you will not feel comfortable. In other words, an argument for the necessity of peplums :)

It’s very nice and the sleeves are great. I would like to try that type of sleeve. Sleeves in mass produced clothing are generally too tight for my larger upper arms. I don’t know if I would be comfortable with a peplum but I would try anything once. Well done!!

This is so pretty! I especially like the seleeves and the lace!! What always stresses me out about upcicles is, to alter the sleeves and the shoulder width and then make it match again. Do you have any tips? It looked so easy when you did it.

Yes, I would say if you can cut them both at the same time, this way they will always match, if the fabric is too think then cut one and with the piece you just cut off use it as a patter for your order side. The shoulder width, try the shirt mark where your shoulder finishes with a pin and simply cut it like I did, I hope this helps! 😁❤️

Your second one.. underarms should be more fitted and maybe less ruffles in peplum or a softer fabric like the shirt. I think the peplum might would have looked better if you designed it like the sleeves. I think it would have been more flattering on you. The cotton fabric is too stiff and bulky. I hope you don't mind me saying my observations because I don't mean it as a criticism. I think you do great work! And I absolutely love the other top with the peplum. I would also add a peplum to your other top. Crop tops are for young people. Not saying you're not young 😊 I think for your stature, the peplum style looks nice on you as long as it fits nicely. Too much bulk isn't nice because it draws too much attention to your midriff. I share my observations because I would want people to do that for me. I'm not being mean and I hope you don't take offense to me sharing this. I honestly admire people who do what you do and do it fearlessly. You just roll with it and get it done come what may. I appreciate you sharing your adventures in sewing to inspire us all. ❤
