I was in Puerto Escondido, March 2022. I was walking on Benito Juárez near El Cafecito when I saw you and Luna. I spoke to you; Luna ran off to get ice cream. It felt like meeting a movie star or actually being in one of your videos. You were very nice. I didn’t talk to you too long because I didn’t want to bother you but I said thanks for talking and I went on my way. It was great meeting you because I’ve been a big fan of your’s since your channel began when you first arrived in Antigua. It’s good to see you again on KZbin.

Hello! Thank you for your Guate videos. You helped me have the courage to move to Guatemala for a year as an American. I got pregnant second week of living there with my husband ( something about that fertile land) and had out son there. We are back in the USA now but hope to return, enjoying family time with our little one.

Absolutely true about Huatulco. I was in Puerto Escondido 30 plus years ago when they finished building certain buildings etc, mostly empty, and they were smoothing out the land closer to the water. Still a beautiful beach, people were there, but the fact is it was constructed according to a plan, it did not grow naturally the way most places would. They actually had ATMs, very few people but ATMs set up. Puerto Escondido at the time did not

Sometimes yes. A lot 9f times men ask me 9ver and over and I start to feel attacked. Like they either want to know if I can take financial burden from them, or they are looking for a way to hate me. It seems to happen with men for me. Many men assume that I come from money or that 8 had a baby for money, basically that I haven't worked, am lazy etc. Men who look for reasons to hate women scare me. So I just get off this topic quick. It does not matter what I do for money what matters is how sad it is that any mother would have their time wasted having to work fr money

Canada has had more regulations and more desire to ensure quality of life for Majority rather than just one person. I've lived in and currently live in Latin countries over the years and it's really not the same mentality. But Canada has had decades of evolving these things, you can't really compare the two and blame mexico or Ecuador or Guatemala for being backwards on even just tossing garbage everywhere, dogs roaming around, throwing out kittens, or whatever, basically things we did regularly in Canada before the 80s. Younger people probably don't realize this was normal in Canada too. Every thing we can complain about in Latin America simply got bylawed or regulated as well as educated in Canada. And enforcement. You want this to change in Mexico or wherever, you do what Canada did and target the kids in school. In 20 years people won't be throwing garbage on the roadsides or left on the beach
@jj-bp3fr Жыл бұрын
@@birdsinparadise3113 I've seen videos with trash on streets in Canada, drugged people in graffiti infested neighborhoods. I prefer dogs on the street than being in cages, in the wild, as they should be, not domesticated, or killed just bc they don't have a home. Also, latinamerica countries are all different, each country is not the same so shouldn't be labeled as only 1 country. Like Guatemala is so different than mexico, even Ecuador is different. The way they speak, laws, etc. I don't think mexico is backwards like you say, being different than where you come from, not doing the same thing another country does, does not make anyone backwards, just different. Yes, there could be improvements everywhere such as the medical care system in the US could be better like in mexico. I like that I can go to a doctor inside a pharmacy and pay only $2-$3 US, without waiting or making an appointment and get my medicine on the spot. Or, getting any test imaginable or see whatever doctor i want without the need to get a referral, request, or doctors note. I can walk up to any lab, request any ultrasound, xray, etc and is affordable without having to get a doctor's permission! I like that a doctor can text me, come to my house, etc. Each country is unique, no comparisons, no such thing as one being good or bad, each is different. Reg trash, there's many cities in mexico cleaner than anywhere I've seen in the US, so I think we have clean and dirty spaces everywhere. I live near a desert area, trust me, people dump big furniture, mattresses, toilets, trash, ANYTHING, the desert is full of it and this is in the US.

Your perspective is interesting and I really hope you can continue to live your life in a way that's beneficial for you and your daughter. It's like that saying, "The grass is always greener on the other side". I think there's so much "lifestyle inspo" and positive affirmations these days, but everyone needs to have a WHY so that OUR GRASS can be greener on OUR s SIDE. I really hope to God that we can all move towards that direction. Perfection does not exist, I just know it's best to live in truth and in God's light. Take care!

@@TravelMamaAnnaVonI get it but there are channels using YT for good and you could be one of them. You could monetize through affiliate marketing and brand deals. That doesn’t mean you have to sell your soul. You can choose quality things you really believe in and that you truly think will help. You could also lead retreats or just have a membership or some other way to donate to you to compensate for your time. I’ve met great people through social media that have become real life friends and I know so many people would vibe with you and want to see your POV and learn about your travels.

What about when people say "I had to get an abortion" Don't you hear that I failed to plan and take accountability so my convenience is more important than the human life I'm about to kill.
@TravelMamaAnnaVon Жыл бұрын
I had an abortion. I don't regret it. It's really none of your business what someone does with their bodies. The thing that we are not talking about is this: it's not a choice when only one option is supported. We support women in havving abortions, we don't support them in keeping babies: especially if they are unmarried, young etc. There was NO SUPPORT avaialble to me to have a child when I had an abortion. None. I was using two forms of birth control and it still happened. It seemed very clear physically, emotionally, socially and financially that I would get lots of support in choosing an abortion and none at all in any other choice. If we actually supported women in having babies (married or single), we would see the abortion rate plummet. But No, I don't judge women who have abortions. The pressure on women to be promiscuous even as young as 14 in western countries and to reject love, relationships and families is ENORMOUS. You are basically nothing if you don't believe in the feminist agenda, and it includes having multiple sexual partners, being pro abortion, making money like men, having sex like men etc. And it's a lie. And no, i don't blame any woman having to navigate all that. I wish i had left sooner. I would be married wih several kids now for sure.
