I remember the huge sigh of relief of reaching the 12 week appointment ❤️ hearing the heartbeat wasn’t enough after my loss. Like you said I was more aware of concerns throughout the rest of the pregnancy but I just prayed everyday that I would choose hope over fear because I wanted to celebrate the life inside me for as long as I could ❤️

Pregnant with our first after 4 years of infertility! Though our journeys are different, I feel every ounce of your fear/worry and desire to protect your hearts! I learned throughout my journey that I could only control so much and everything else was in someone else’s hands. That faith has helped keep me calm during this time and my husband and I vowed that we would allow ourselves to be excited through every portion of this pregnancy and wouldn’t hold back! So so happy for you all and can’t wait to hear the gender! We get our genetic testing tomorrow to find out ours! ❤

Highly recommend the 4D ultrasound lady in Huntsville for all scans outside of what insurance covers. She is AMAZING. She did my gender scan also at 14 weeks and then I did the “smooshy face” ultrasound with her at 28 weeks also. I could see so much of his facial features. She just got new equipment so she gets even clearer images than she did a few months ago. It’s crazy!

Congratulations!!! I just had my daughter a few months ago and her heartbeat was also in the 160s. My friend had a boy and his heart beat was in the 140s. Old wives tales is girls heartbeats run higher than boys. ❤
