Well done Jordan. Sections of that river are already looking beautiful. Next time your out maybe talk to a few fishermen on what they think? I bet they are enjoying the river fishing. I could only imagine what it looked like before the dams were built when it was a unrestricted natural river.

It is amazing to see how the original rapids are now developing into waterfalls. Nature is really interesting to watch as it redevelops itself.

Wow, interesting to hear about the raising of the lake level. I really hope you can keep going and keep us up to date. being from the UK you are the only source of information on this story which i've followed from the start. You video was probably suggested as I watch Blancolirio's channel documenting the Orville Dam

Man, I happened upon your videos about the broken dams back in May, and now I'm fully invested. Excellent documentation and easy to watch. I appreciate the work you do and the attention you're bringing these people. I hope it comes to fruition with the entities that own the dams that failed. By the way, congratulations on getting married! All the best my man!

The fish will be fine, just like fish in other natural rivers. The lake froze but the freely running river doesn't freeze all the way. Restoring flow into the Tobacco will make a wonderful difference to the stagnant areas.It's healing itself, amazing. If you are not seeing through the eyes of a victim, it looks a lot better as a natural river, I see potential

I worked for 2 years rebuilding the levies in Iowa and Missouri that those damn failures caused to fail. An absolute nightmare seeing thousands of communities completely wiped out! The army corps of engineers was found at fault but still refuse to accept any responsibility. Glad to see some communities getting back to life as many never will. I wish my other phone didn't get ruined because I would have loved to have shared some photos of areas I had to be in for the clean up and levee work. It was both traumatizing and fascinating. Good luck and God bless to all!!!

It's amazing how deep the water has cut the falls its bwautiful, but a pain cause all that has to be redirected I would think. Have you heard anything about the trees that are growing in the lake beds. It can be treated bur they gotta move on it. I love the way nature is reclaiming the land. I'm not local but for nature reasons I do hope that they remove the dams, let the artificial lakes disappear and restore the beautiful rivers as nature intended. The duck's and fish are already at home
@edwardverlander76814 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure we'll get some feedback on this but I totally agree also.. but from what I read they're planning on spending unlimited amounts of tax money and taxing the people on the dam for the next 40 years to rebuild everything..So Sad

Mother nature has clearly spoken on this, no dams in this area. If it gets rebuilt the next big storm will take it out again, maybe not this year but someday soon. Really hope the engineers take the hint.

Well, If it was up to me I would extend people’s properties up to the river and leave the river in its natural state. All the area around the river should become a natural parks. These rapids are great. On the other hand I know that people property value dropped but they should rebuild the dams with their and dams owners money.
